I don't know if it is new and stupid or not. A lot of stuff in the legal system seems stupid to me anyway. I want to agree with you because I hate EA so much.
It's Madden football. The NFL is the story and the game is the football. Graphics and gameplay improved with the sequels but it's still football strategy.
Which entirely misses the point of a broad education. If you look at it that way we'd do basic courses in the first 6 grades then farm everyone not going to college to a trade school. I believe there is a certain amount of general knowledge everyone should have so that a society can function. The problem in the last few decades is we've allowed too much dumbing down and now we're reaping what we've sowed.
You know, if a boss has to peek at desks or screens to know if people are productive they've got a real problem. I can tell if people are productive by what gets accomplished. If someone is working his ass off and just spinning his wheels getting nothing real done then he might just as well be fucking off. Bosses like that are incompetent little martinets.
Have you seen pictures of smog in China? It's fucking incredible. It's not that much of it that makes it here, only a small portion. It seems like a lot but compared to what started it's not that much. The health problems the Chinese are going to have from this stuff is unimaginable.
You can't read genius. I am talking about people hiding money. You can't hide money in the system. That is why eventually the government will do away with cash, they know there are billions of dollars floating around that they aren't getting their cut on. Lot's of people work cash jobs just to avoid this situation. When cash is gone it'll be barter for them.
This isn't the answer to that. You can bet it will be a simple matter for them to grab money from this system as well. Cash is still the best bet if you're shady. Until they do away with cash then it'll be a barter system.
Sure, and all this could easily be covered under existing regulations of the FAA. Maybe some minor tweaks. Want to bet what happens? I bet we get at least a couple of new agencies, maybe 20 thousand new government jobs. Just what we need another bureaucracy. The stuff you listed are good ideas. Lets not stop there though. Have to have at least 200 thousand new regulations so we can make sure the price for putting someone in orbit triples. It's the way things work. I like safety as much as the next guy but the typical way things are done now include enough overkill to stifle any chance at making a profit. US corporations didn't flee to overseas production just for lower wages. The place they really save is avoiding the EPA, FLA, and OSHA. I'd bet anything commercial orbital companies end up offshore as well.
Fool and congressman are almost synonymous in my mind. The more terms they've served the more foolish they are. It matters not which side of the aisle they sit.
No no no. Only denialists are fools. Global warming proponents are superior intelligent beings who are never wrong and always have the answers if only all the illiterate peons would listen to them everything would be okay.
That's good for bean counters that run most corporations these days. Eventually though you lose brand loyalty if you keep fucking your customers over. When that happens you become just another nothing special outfit. Apple can't afford that. If they lose the association of quality with their name they'll die.
It's all the rage in appliances. Try buying a new major appliance without buying a warranty. When, not if, they fail you can count on a repair bill of 200 to 1000 dollars nowadays. If it's over three years old and you have no warranty then you might just as well buy a new one for what it'll cost unless you can repair it yourself. I fixed my refrigerator and while sitting at the appliance parts supply place waiting to pay 22 dollars for a part the guy next to me looked at it and laughed. I replace 7 or 8 of those a week he laughed. I asked what he charged and he told me 165 dollars. That was 8 years ago and I've replaced that same fucking part 3 times since then. I hate working on appliances but I hate taking it up the ass even more.
I am all for feeding the poor. This country is rich and can afford food for the needy. The problem is the way the program is run. I'd like to see some changes to cut out fraud and also to do something about some of the misuse. Still and all I think we need to maintain a food stamp program. Of all the money the government pisses away this is one thing I think we need.

True. We know federal judges are above anything like bribery.

So now you know the Golden Rule. Them with the gold makes the rules. I learned this on the Bugs Bunny show, it was a favorite quote of Bugs.
Actually Visipics is reported to work just fine under Wine on Linux.
Run as root? Why would you.....ah, never mind.

I know that's right. I bought some of that cheap shit too. Now I spend more money and buy stuff that will hold up.

"It's like talking about 'theft standards' for regulating the activities of pickpockets to a certain amount per wallet..."
Oh, you mean like taxes?
Can't get into a tariff war with a country that we owe the kind of money that we owe China. It would probably turn into a shooting war.

True, it works both ways.

They live in the nanny state where it's the job of the government to make sure you don't miss a step and get a boo-boo.
Just burn more carbon based fuels. That will warm you right up.

Isn't friction what generates sensation? That's part of the problem with condoms now, no feeling.

Maybe he just didn't want the thief to break his window. If you leave it rolled down they can take what they want without damaging your car.
