Other than FOX news, which TV news organization do you consider right wing? I can't think of another. The closest thing I can think of to what could be considered unbiased (simply state all the facts without spin) would be of all people Al Jazeera.

You simpleton, did it ever occur to you that maybe I was one of the tens of millions that didn't like either candidate? That I was one of the millions upon millions that held their nose against the smell as I chose my candidate? That I'm one of the millions of Trump supporters that now waits to see what he does now that he's elected and if he truly was a better choice than the awful Hilliary? I'm seriously hoping he's half what he claims to be. If you're so fucking confident of it being a rosy world you truly are a simpleton.

Polls are just polls. They call people and ask them questions. Just because someone likes one candidate over another doesn't mean they'll get off their ass and go vote. Lots of people that voted for Obama the last two elections didn't feel like making the effort for Hilliary. The polls probably made them feel it wasn't necessary in some cases and in other ones they just didn't like her enough to make an effort. Most of that stuff on twitter is bogus and you know it unless you're an idiot.

It is confusing. I see women every day who state they hate being objectified as sex objects and then show up with a mini skirt that shows the curvature of their ass and shoes with 7 inch heels. I'm almost 60 now and my urges no longer have the overwhelming power they did when I was 20. Still I thank God that women in my day didn't dress half as slutty as they do now or I'd have had problems for sure. The shit in Playboy today is tame by street standards.

I know right. You've got all these paranoid people who mistrust the government and then you make a propaganda/truth bureau to reinforce their paranoia.

  10. You know, there's that pesky first amendment to consider. Since Hilliary isn't going to get to stack the court with progressive judges who can reinterpret the Constitution the way it was meant to be written you have to consider that even fake news is protected speech. If lies were against the law we'd have POTUS, all the Senators and every single Representative in the House in jail.

It's yet another government waste of money. Fake news is effective because all the major news outlets have lost their credibility by not even trying to hide their bias. I know that CNN usually doesn't tell outright lies though, even if sometimes they report things with a certain slant or ignore some stories. I know that 99 percent of what I see on twitter is bogus. Still, the fact that the MSM has become so obviously pro left has pretty much enabled all these crazy stories. Now, having the government chime in is only going to make people double-down on the fake stuff. If there is any organization less trusted than the media it's the government.

  12. The working class has become used to being shit on. It's nothing new to us. You won't be the first arrogant bastard to write us off. Be careful though, if you totally destroy the working economy of this nation you'll end up with something really bad. You're talking about over a 100 million people who need those jobs the rich have been sending overseas to avoid taxes and the EPA. Don't think that you'll avoid getting any of it splattered on you.

  16. Trump didn't get elected because of his views as much as the fact he was not Hilliary. It was entirely a negative campaign. Some people voted for Trump but most were just voting against Hilliary and the perceived establishment. You hear some crackpots for sure but when you ask them very few of his supporters really believe he's going to build a wall or even care about a wall. I'm not happy about the anti net neutrality people he's appointing either but in the end I think Mr. Trump is going to find out all about the limitations of his office.

It's not really as rosy as the headline makes it seem. Cherry picking numbers works for both sides in DC.

  22. You know, I'm not a big fan of Trump. He's got tons of flaws and does and says crazy shit pretty regularly. Still, he's just the President. He's got some power and influence but ultimately everything he does has to go through Congress and then the Supreme Court has a shot at making sure it's in line with the Constitution. One thing justices appointed by both Republican and Democratic administrations have in common is that they support free speech. They do this because the First Amendment to the Constitution is one of the clearest, most unambiguous statements in US law. No matter how you try to twist it the freedom of speech is written in stone. It's the First of the the ten amendments in the Bill of Rights. If Trump attacks it he'll begin to lose support among his base because tearing out that pillar of freedom will hurt all Americans.
