I would prefer something like all the others Zelda games. No loading screen, and can see all other adjacent lands, even if it is just a billboard sprite of a smoaking mountain in the distance, or a line of trees on the other side of the fence.
As mentioned, all the sailing in WW is what put me off. In fact, WW was the first Zelda game I did not complete. Each island seemed like a separate level, and made the whole game seem linear. At least in the other games you knew over the mountain there was another section of the world, or like in Ocerana, you could actually see features in the distance of other areas, giving the world a connected feal.

After the advent of games, Lucas geared all of his movies for gaming ports. Especially Ep1 and 2. Pod racing?
First..I might buy an XBox360 because Tecmo supports them...
Second..Unless this game is $15 or less, I will not buy it. I have the original, and it is incredible. People do not buy 'Game of Year editions' in the PC land if they have the original...at least I don't. Can you imagine some 13 year old asking his mom to buy the same game again?!?! My mom would have slaped me!
Third..I have not beaten the first..are those pics from the the first game? You have to fight three of those huge dudes at once?!?!
I despise Gamespy so much for how hard it makes playing some games like the total war series. While I guess if I had to choose between no multi-player and using gamespy, I would choose using gamespy, I am at the point of avoiding all possibilities of supporting them in hopes that another, better, solution becomes available.
I bought the game from a store, and people condemn this action. However, when I recently bought a new HD, and moved all my games to it, it only took 10 mintues to reinstall HL2, instead of having to download the whole frigg'en thing again. Same thing would go if my HD crashed. At least when I bought Anarchy Online from their online store and downloaded it, I was able to burn it. Can you not burn a HL2 copy if you bought it through steam?
Wait, but the opening song was the same tune as the song that plays during the game. Unless he wrote that too, then all he did was make a dramatic version of the main game tune.
I failed to see anywhere in that article that the game was canceled by their own decision. Thus..(thus!) I asked..and I quote.."by whom". Seeing that you replied, and you tried to belittle me, you must know of another article that states why the title was canceled. I ask you provide a link.
On the side, my statement is that companies that are 'lapdogs' seem to think they are independant simply because their publisher, who is allowing them to exist, does not own them. There is a big debate about what the difference is between a Publisher and a Distributor.
I don't understand...they have to close down because their title was canceled? By whom? Their publisher? If that is the case, then that means all of their paychecks were coming from the publisher since they didn't have enough saved up from previous games. The term 'Independent Game developer' has been warped in this case. They were more like contractors. When I hear 'Independent', I picture it meaning you are 'Not Dependant' on other sources, like income from a publisher. 'Small' means your team is small enough that you can support them, and thought I read somewhere they had about 40 members.
Since you either didn't read my whole post, or your comprehension skills are low, I will explain it in a simple manner. I am talking about how when one person breaks the norm for the first time, especially when it brings a profit that others will not get, those left behind will try to stop them. This is what is happening here. All companies could do this. Sony is the first. The other companies like Turbine wish they did it, but instead of going back on their word, they choose to attack Sony instead, even though they too will follow the same practice soon enough.
This is why legalization of some drugs, like Majuana, will never happen in the US. One State might try, but because it steps on the financial toes of another, they will be stopped. Sony is trying something new. If others are making profit, Sony should too.
Who cares if the XBox2 is backwards compatible if I can't transfer my game saves to the new system. There are many games (mostly by Tecmo) that don't allow memory card saves.
Just the other day I mentioned the QBert cartoon during a session of WoW, but no one had any idea what I was talking about. Also, I thought Lou did a great job as Mario. What else are you going to do after your fake manager position in wrestling falls flat?
PS1 titles were still coming out several years or more after PS2 came out. Why all the fuss? I bet MS even gives a royaly break for those developing Xbox1 titles after XBox2's release.
I still remember the days when Nintendo games first started being rented out in video stores. PC Games were incredibly lacking at the time, and a friend casually asked a video store clerk when they will start renting out PC Games? They said they wouldn't because the market is much smaller. Even though PC Games grew incredibly over the next 20 years, the market in terms of number of games and originality has always been smaller than consoles. Hastings tried renting out PC games in the mid-90s, but stopped from either lack of rentals, or probably the hassle of people complaining they couldn't get the game running on their system (or piracy since CD burners just came out). In the end, I think 'the market' has a hard time looking at PCs as a game venue because of how retail outlets treat them.
I guess none of you here remember the N64 shots originally shown. Link fighting a 'shiny' 3d knight..etc. The final game, as we all know, was extremely polished. As with all Zelda games, I expect perfection, and they all delivered so far. These screens are next-gen pre-fab shots. There is no way this game is releasing this year. Look at this info as drool/direction value only. All it confirms is adult link, darker more serious world and good graphics.
I enjoyed Lament...it was a different enjoyment than the GB Adv ones/DracX, but still enjoyment was there. Good leveles..bosses..music. payment satisfaction.

The purpose of E3 is to show games that are about to be released. For example, I still remember seeing demos for games like Duke Nukem Forever.
I just want to let you know I laughed for quite a long time after I read that...

For our booth, we are hiring 10 male strippers freshly shaven, and sprayed down with PAM. This will surely make people passing by look at our game!
Even if it is backwards compatible...how am I supposed to get my DOA:Extreme Vollyball saved games ported to the new system?

Look...I'm trying to quit..OK?!?

I can see the marks where the Phantom stickers were taken off...what's going on here?!?

They even announced they were fixing 'glitches'. Calling bugs as 'Glitches', is as bad as MS calling patches as 'Service packs'.
Unless Hanna Barbara makes it, and has at least one kid with some kind semi-talking animal, it will be a flop. Or maybe I have that backwards...
