How many reports of "signle chip solutions" are we gonna hear before we really start seeing things happen? I see alot of "your toaster, car, girlfriend cell phone PDA and HDTV will all be pumped right into your retina" and so far I still have to carry about four "portable" (yeah sure, on their own they are, but not all together) pieces of crap.... Enough with the talk, make with the damn gadgets!

Incorrect, we are screwed no matter what we do. Some of these nations hate us because we are involved, the rest hate us because we arent. We have groups threatening to take action against us no matter which side of the fence we sit on, so we learned long ago, screw you guys, we are going to take care of ourselves and our friends, do whats best for US (shocking I know) first and keep the peace when we can. Getting kind of sick of this, I wonder how Canada would feel without their older brother watching their ass on the playground....

I have long stated that I think the war on drugs, terrorism, and whatever other "wars" we have going on are far to trivial, what we need to be putting a focus on is people who trade music. When it comes right down to it, drug use may ruin peoples lives, terrorists may kill innocents en masse and corrupt corporations may break Joe Public, but lets look at the big picture, if we allow music trading to continue thats just one more corporation that's going to go down and go down hard.... Buy the corporations, for the corporations....wait I meant people....silly me.... How pathetic a world we live in when trash such as we have "in charge" of our country is allowed to do what they have done.... I am sure my views make me a terrorist though.... I don't trust the same people who provide my content to be the ones who allow me to manipulate it at whim. Then again todays climate could just have me uoverly paranoid :)

Easier is totally perspective, considering we don't use metric-anything in this country I don't think metric time would do anything besides confuse the issue. You assumed in-correctly. b) as has been stated before (but in case you miss ed it, here it is again) the P4 pipeline is MUCH longer than the Athlons, so for instance my 1.6 Athlon XP when compared to a nearly IDENTICAL system running a P4 running at 2.2 the Athlon comes in VERY close (would TIE a P4 @ 2.1Ghz). And yes, I have tested this myself, the P4 machine is actually sitting about 6 feet away from me as we speak. Inform yourself before you buy OR post!

The technical achievements are what won them over in the hearts and minds of most of their viewers. Nor do you seem to comprehend that this is not a book, this is a movei, a ficticious story bent not around stressing you mind (because the large part of the audience would care less about seeing a movie of that nature) and more about being entertaining while scraping the surface of something meaningfull.

Had the author of this "review" payed attention they'd know that the reason why Whistler was in that chamber was because they would periodically toture him and harvest his blood, then put him back in there to let him heal before doing it again. I don't think they should let people like chrisd into movie theaters. Because a movie is not generally what they are looking for. They want something that presents the holy impossible with unimpeachable evidence that it can be done. They want something that is so utterly believable, but they want it to be about something unbelievable. They don't bother to waste their time relaxing and, god forbid, enjoying the movie. They sit there on the edge of their seat waiting for the next thing they can't point out as incorrect. I dunno where you got that the virus was "airborne", but had you spent more time actually watching the movie and less time typing up your review in your head you might have had a better time.
