    What, are you crazy? A social security number makes a PERFECT primary key in a database. Besides, it would take a competent DBA at least a day or two to redesign the DB to make use of other unique values such as rand() ? for keys. Maybe even sha1(SSN). But what do you expect? I would not be suprised if the guy who finds these tapes opens a bunch of files like VISA_2005_04.mdb MASTERCARD_2005_04.mdb.

    I think that it would be a nice suprise to see what viewers actually wanted to see

    I believe that the lunatics that were genuinely outraged at Janet J. are in a really small minority. I would like to think that most of this country is not so sensitive that a nipple would upset them.

    But on the other hand, if only the free market were to decide, it would probably be a race to the bottom, (not like we aren't on that path already though)

    It's sooooo easy, Just keep putting it off for a week or so, and eventually whomever is trying to take advantage of you will get out their restore CD's and try it themselves and low and behold. They realize that they can do it.

    I will bet that everyone who does tech support for their friends/family has installed any operating system hundreds of times but there always was a first.

    I don't get it. Suppose you are right that the big bang did not occur at any one particular point. Fine, but some time ago, before they got the cosomological constant worked out, some thought that we would be in for a big crunch.

    Well my question is this: If The entire universe were come back together into a point, where exactly would that point be? It would have to be somewhere right? And wouldn't that point be where the big bang occured in the first place? I am not sure but I think that in S Hawking's A Brief History of Time He says something like if the cosomological constant were smaller, then at some point the universe would stop expanding and start contracting, Didn't he say that at that moment time itself would start to go backwards? And coffee cups would start flying off the floors and assemble themselves on the table?

    It has been a while since I read that but could someone help me out...

    Not quite, If you check you google's Zeitgeist, Google keeps track of the Operating Systems used to access google and it sez that Windows 98 commands 29% where as XP holds 38% and only 1% use Windows 95.
    It is probably not a perfect statistical study but I think that it is probably reasonable.
