I actually think this DOES affect CD sales to some extent. You no longer need to buy an entire crappy CD to get that one song that is stuck in your head. You can just steal the one song via your favorite file sharing network. Maybe it's just me.
That is extremely easy to answer...because I (and many gamers like me) don't have a DVD-ROM drive in my computer. Will my next computer? Perhaps, but who knows?
Bnetd will neither help not hurt my ability to play the single player version of warcraft 3. The cdkey issue is not the issue. I don't care how much blizzard wants to say it is.
I've never been this torn over a video game before. On one hand, Warcraft III is probably going to be an extremely fun game, but I am having a hard time getting over the whole bnetd issue.
I think it's going to definitely be a pirate-before-I-buy situation. I hate to say it that way, but we'll see...in 2 years when War3 finally comes out.
I don't read Wil's site, but yeah, it would be kind of cool if Vai wrote up all sorts of stuff on his site...he does seem like a really interesting guy. (Much more so, in my opinion, than Wil Wheaton.) I'm a big fan. He probably IS about the best guitarist around from a technical standpoint. I'd have to agree with the general consensus that Passion & Warfare is his best album. I don't have 7th Song, but most of the songs on it are good. He's cool in concert as well.
It's quite a nice coincidence that tomshardware just had this article
I think it'll show you that if you're buying a new computer, and want to play the latest games at a decent resolution and framerate, a 2 MX just isn't sufficient. Of course my definitions of decent may differ from yours, but I don't think 1024x768 is unreasonable.
I'd guess Nintendo isn't paying them a dime, but that's just a guess.
Oh?
What impact does your video card have on internet performance?
Since when did honesty and marketing have anything at all to do with each other?
You beat me and lots others to it...here's your karma.
I agree. However, the computer is freakin' GOOD at Warcraft 3! It's a very worthy 1-on-1 opponent in that game.

Delete the list. :)
Exactly. What is the point of a cell phone?
Being British relieves it of it's ridicule?
A perfect example of why no "rational, impartial judge" exists. Exclusive rights to an acronym? Please. That was ridiculous.
Godzilla vs Mozilla!
Complete with terrible english dubbing.
Yeah, where do you put the digital watermark to keep people from listening to it?
There's a surprising lack of moderated up comments about salty, humid environments in people's pants.
Come ON people!

Make sure they're not those terribly thin, Kate Moss-like models. Give them at least a little bit of figure, please!
He is more machine now than man. Twisted and evil.
"You are theweakestlink! Good-BYE!"
"The dark side clouds everything."
(Interpret as you wish...)
There are 2 suicide kings? I only remember the King of Hearts... What is the other?
You sir, are on crack.

None of those things can be disproven by science anyway... Belief and science are not completely contrary to each other.
Ah. I gotcha. Makes sense.
:)
Heh, I'd have to say this is getting off-topic

Um, mind explaining your sig? I'm confused.
