    They support flash plug-ins that come from Adobe. I don't remember getting an install for h.264

    just like the Android phones (evo, hero, droid, galaxy, nexus one) there will be a lot of tablets. Competition is a good thing. Apple designed a good implementation of an iPad. Just like they did with the iPod & later the iPhone. Good for them.

    Extreme rigidity is meaningless if the occupants become scrambled eggs. I am not advocating for SUVs but the physics is what it is. You want crumplezones (ie a hood & trunk), the deformation is energy that is dissipated, less energy being transmitted to the passengers.

    Ironic this story is coming from kdawson. He's like the Fox News guy from Slashdot. The story doesn't have to be true if it garners a ton of posts. His stories about MS are often shallow, w/ summary full of some perceived slight often having nothing to do with the story. This often induces a feeding frenzy as MS haters who take the bait goes. My only reason why this continues is that these bring a lot of ad revenue to Slashdot.

    Dude, you need to stop eating toe fungus. I like linux but my customers use Vista & I forced myself to use it. After SP1 it wasn't the doom & gloom everyone here made it out to be. The more you scream stuff that don't match users experience the less persuasive your argument becomes. It makes you look like a ranting lunatic. BTW Vista has a larger OS market share than linux + apple combined .. not exactly an appeal from death row.
