What mysterious flamebait are you spouting? You say Apple killed the album by allowing a la carte downloads of individual tracks. I say Apple finally allowed consumer freedom and choice since most people buy an album for only one song anyway. Ever listened to the awful filler on the rest of Britney Spears' albums after track 1 ends?
That's not what is meant here. Apple is now the #1 vendor of Music, even more than Walmart. If Apple decided to remove one of the labels from the store, the label would take a substantial loss in profits. Remember when NBC decided to yank all their shows from iTunes, because Apple wouldn't sell more than $2 and episode, and then came back a few months later hat in hand?
At least there's alternatives. I prefer Disqus for my blog. It is easy to add, it lets someone else handle the login/password stuff, and doesn't have the whole Facebook/real name problem.
Well he does have photos of the device, a unique FCC ID that traces back to the FBI, and a plausible story of being pulled over. It's not like he's some paranoid "I was abducted" fool. Last I checked, the legality of inserting a tracking device on someone was questionable.
It's really about how light and non-bulky it is. If it's much heavier and wider than a paperback, a lot of people won't find it as convenient to read while doing things like lying down.
Original iPad is 1 GHz A4 processor, new iPad is 1 GHz A5 processor. I wouldn't worry about that, it's not like the original is that slow or that many apps strain it.
No they don't. Apple isn't arguing they have a trademark on "App." Hence the existence of App World, App Market, App Bodega (yeah that's a real one), etc. by competitors.
By your reasoning, Apple's new combination of terms in the marketplace is associated with Apple by the public and thus is trademarkable.
How come nobody has compared this to Heinz yet? They didn't invent Ketchup itself.
That's completely different; we're not talking about GUI or functionality but over trademark names. Think more about how Microsoft sued over the title Lindows.
How is it more generic than Windows? Despite the existence of app marketplaces such as Steam before it, that term "App Store" was not in the public existence. Apple created their App Store and started marketing it as such, where nobody else did with a similiar name beforehand. They're legally in the right for this one.
You're correct, Apple has been defending it pretty actively. I don't hear it referred to as the Blackberry or Android App Store, they are explicitly Blackberry App World and Android App Market. App Store is shown in 3rd party TV commercials etc. as referring to on iPhones.
I'm sorry, but you're just wrong. Israel is even cracking down on interracial marriage, with Tel Aviv (aren't they a more liberal part of Israel?) running municipal (tax-funded) TV ads warning against dating Arabs. Don't forget the recently passed laws that disenfranchised interracial marriages, in essence deporting countless Arabs who had married Jews. You're putting your head in the sand if you pretend Israel doesn't have a problem on its hands.
About the pilots. Arab Muslim wants to Join IAF. Also a better article: Israel's Arab Problem Hits Home. By all standards he was qualified and had letters of recommendation better than most. Political pressure kept him from getting it in the end.
Oh, minister of sports. Yes, 20% of Israel is Arab and the highest any of them have ever gotten was minister of sports. Tokenism doesn't work. It's 2011 and America has a Black President, and Israel has not even gotten near the level of a Colin Powell.
It's the idea that it exists as a state, but because it's a "Jewish state." what does that mean if you're not Jewish, you're not an equal citizen? Remember that until the 1980s it was legal to have "Jews only" signs in storefronts and help wanted ads. If you're not Jewish, you can't be an Israeli Air Force pilot for example and the government doesn't let Arabs as ministers.
Israel is facing a difficult choice, given its changing demographics. It can be a democratic state, which gives equal rights to everyone even if the majority isn't Jewish (which can happen in the next few decades), or it can be a Jewish state and create an apartheid system like South Africa.
When I hear so-called geeks whine and complain about Apple, I imagine them as nothing more than Hipsters. 'Apple is too mainstream for me, I like my OS to be a distro so underground you've probably never heard of it.'

That brings up an interesting question, legally how liable is a forum operator for the postings on the site?
Hard to imagine that with such a high UID.
Not officially supported, but MacWorld reports it working
The iPad has email, WiFi, 3G and bluetooth. Think again.
Foxconn employees live on the premises in worker dorms. The suicides prompted the company to outsource the dorms.

Apple's products actually survive several OS upgrade cycles before they start to get slow. Original iPhone was good all the way up until iOS 4.
Just use Apple's Camera Connection Kit, it plugs in to the dock connector.

I believe it already has several of the features already (it's running 4.2.5), such as HotSpot.

That's silly logic. I've heard the term "Hot Jobs" used before Hotjobs.com took it, but that's still a good trademark.
Facebook is a pretty generic name, I had a physical facebook in college, but it's a valid trademark today.

It's more to make an example and prevent others from thinking of doing the same.
You're making excuses. "But it's justified!" you say. Discrimination is always justified by those who do it, its still not right.
I really don't care much about the hardware, because I mainly bought my MacBook Pro for the OS X. That's what you're getting.
