200 Mbps at the physical layer and 130 Mbps at the application layer are available since early 2005 using proprietary DS2 technology and in Europe Opera organization have taken steps to develop a standard based on this technologies.
Spanish DS2 PLC chipset developer provides more than 200 Mbps:
"The DSS9XXX-based series of PLC modem devices share the same physical layer characteristics, allowing seamless integration of access, in-building and in-home media networks. Advanced OFDM modulation provides the ability to cope with all of the powerline channel impairments while using high-density constellations that provide a throughput of more than 200 Mbps."
as far as i know ipw2100 support monitor mode but sister project ipw2200 do not support it. Both are developed by the same Intel developer, so i guest it is only a matter of time:-)
For a extensive list of drivers supporting monitor mode, check seattlewireless wireless driver characteristic table
MAC spoofing is so easy as running from your command line, if your driver support it:
ifconfig {eth0|wlan0} hw ether CA:CA:CA:CA:CA:CA
For a valid list of MAC addresses you can check IEEE list, anyway anybody who is trying to avoid your MAC address filtering is going to use an address from your filter list so you have to check for valid traffic but when you are not connected
Is there any wifi SD card with support for Linux?
I only knew one from Fujitsu, but it seem it has been removed for end users.
Due to tremendous number of inquiries from our System Module Products prospects, Fujitsu will be basically selling the System Module Products to OEM customers only, unfortunately, it will not be available for end-user. Sorry for the inconvenience. Fujitsu appreciates your understanding in advance.
Maxima 5.9.0
Maxima is a fairly complete computer algebra system with an emphasis on symbolic computation.
Octave 2.1.42
GNU Octave is a high-level language, primarily intended for numerical computations. It provides a convenient command line interface for solving linear and nonlinear problems numerically, and for performing other numerical experiments using a language that is mostly compatible with Matlab. It may also be used as a batch-oriented language.
R 1.8.0
R is `GNU S' - A language and environment for statistical computing and graphics. R is similar to the award-winning S system, which was developed at Bell Laboratories by John Chambers et al. It provides a wide variety of statistical and graphical techniques (linear and nonlinear modelling, statistical tests, time series analysis, classification, clustering,...).
Scilab 2.6
Scilab is a scientific software package for numerical computations in a user-friendly environment.
Gnuplot 3.7.x
gnuplot is a command-driven interactive function plotting program. It can be used to plot functions and data points in both two- and three-dimensional plots in many different formats, and will accommodate many of the needs of today's scientists for graphic data representation.

Excerpt from original article: "One of the reasons why multiple-antenna systems are not typically used today is the very high computing power that is required at the receiving end. This is because the information that is transmitted simultaneously by multiple antennas is received by multiple receiving antennas and has to be reconstructed in realtime for the receiving device. This exceeds the capabilities of the typical chips that are currently being employed in the mobile communication industry. The researchers at Siemens overcame this challenge by developing new and optimizing signal processing algorithms that can be efficiently implemented on the hardware modules that are available today."
there is other routing software alternatives, such us, Zebra, bird, openbgpd and quagga (fork from Zebra).
I find guagga stable and good replacement for some SOHO Cisco equipment, but nothing else.
I would argue that Centrino is a commercial brand introduced by Intel to:
a) improve Intel wireless capabilities in their laptops
b) sell more notebooks
c) confuse customers
d) let me to write this comment on Slashot:-)

Intel support Linux. They took longer to release drivers to support it, but actually there is support on at least 3 Intel chipset (Intel 2100, Intel 2200BG, Intel 2915ABG). Check drivers homepage:

Not exactly, ACC systems take a while to react. It has a typical meassure/calculation clycle of about 100ms, and usually use a couple of cycles to take a decision. So aprox. 200ms reaction time.
>ACC can therefore pack more cars into a mile of highway, increasing a road's de facto capacity. Not really. ACC programmed space-time gap usually is bigger as normal driver, just because normal drivers do not respect forward security distance.

You just need to sniff some traffic with some tool for sniffing traffic, link Ethereal, and you will get a valid and allowed MAC address.
For a valid list of MAC addresses you can check IEEE list, anyway anybody who is trying to avoid your MAC address filtering is going to use an address from your filter list so you have to check for valid traffic but when you are not connected
