    Mandatory? Who would enforce this? Time-Warner is huge with infinit legal resources, and suing them would just waste everyone's time and money.

    I think your right about the sales, this probably won't affect sales that much, although it would sway the computer enthusiasts away from PS2. But that's a really small percentage of people. I think /.ers just exaggerate a bit when it comes to Microsoft.

    The reason why XBox would be better than an inexpensive DVD player is that XBox would be able to play SVCDs, DivX, and DVD. DivX, by the way, has far higher quality than SVCD with files of similar sizes. (That's been my experience anyway).

    You're right! Portable porn! that's exactly what we need! I mean, who wouldn't want to watch porn while you're sitting on the bus or subway on the way to work. Or in your car stuck in traffic. Or while you're doing groceries.

    This is not a surprise at all. Napster was OBVIOUSLY going to go under after they got shutdown. Who in their right mind thought that Napster would be able to provide a pay service while there's other services that offer music for free. I gotta say, some investors are really dumb. Why are people so stupid?

    I haven't used opera in a long time, but I'm using Mozilla and IE right now. Mozilla isn't very stable, as far as my experience so far. If Opera is faster and stable, and compatible with all the crap out there, i'd use it... I'll have to give it a try.
