    MIDI files? I still get VLC acting quirky for me. Not all the bugs are out of it. WMP has always run like a champ for me, though it is missing a few features these days I'd like back. You don't remember when WMP had all these settings you could tweak.

  2. There's actually an infinite amount of everything and we're getting close to detecting it and having perfect memories of everything that has ever happened.

  6. I intend to eat dirt, you know the stuff with carbon in it that the article complains heating up releases carbon making the planet heat up, because my body is partly made out of carbon. Other animals can potentially eat dirt too, so eating plant animal and mineral.

    They need to bring back Slashdot Japan and Unicode support. I get this little option to turn off ads every now and again, but haven't gotten mod points in forever. They also need to no longer disable commenting on posts and allow you to edit and delete posts.

    We both are and aren't. The universe is just one big computer and any part of it is merely a simulation of itself. We all check in to fill in the missing parts to each other. Eventually we are going to close the seams between each other.
