  1. Re:Last Time I Looked on StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm Details Released · · Score: 1

Very few people plan LAN matches anymore.

    How do you know??

I mean it's true from the perspective that they don't allow it. But I can think of way more times where War3 was played on lan then online. I'm pretty sure this would be the case for SC2 As well if it were allowed. I've definitely had one instance where we played Supreme commander BC we couldn't play SC2.

But anecdotes aside, My point is how do you have statistics on who plays what on LAN, if you are playing without internet, How do usage statistics get phoned home?

yep - perfect example of this divisive partisan rambling.

While the GP may have been a bit partisan he does bring up a valid point. It seems a large part of the republican strategy involves Disenfranchising the vote of the opposition. Here in Texas they do that several ways most notably the recent Voter ID bill, But also they've been known for challenging the registration of known democrats, usually claiming they've moved.

And even the acorn complaints, While valid up to a point; were more based around disenfranchising inner-city residents.

I'm not saying the dems are less corrupt they haven't had the chance to prove it. The Repubs kinda already showed they were power hungry(2003 Redistricting).

The "ROM" on the most of TI-83 series was actually Flash memory, up to 2MB on the one I used, the mighty TI-84+ Silver Edition (although the OS only let you use 1.5MB). The original was the only one to use actual, non-writable ROM. And yes, "archived" programs/data were stored in Flash instead of RAM. Mainly useful because you couldn't fit many programs into RAM. Turns out 24KB isn't enough for everyone.
