The flood is pretty widely accepted. Every culture dating back to then (and conveniently located in the middle east/N Africa/Mediteranian) has its own flood myths, and the geologic record supports it. There probably was a huge flood that flooded the whole region at one point, but there probably wasn't a drunk with a boat and 2 of every animal.

In that save, i own every piece of property avaliable in the game. I never claimed they were my figures, they're c&p'd from IGN, i'm not an economic anylist. Also, i did say that the 360 is above average if you take out the outliers that are the NeoGeo and 3DO.

Redoing it quick, if you just take consoles from Nintendo, Sega, Sony and Microsoft, the average comes out to $324.27. The Xbox 360 core then, is still $25 adjusted dollars cheaper than average and the advanced bundle or whatever is not even 20% above average.

Why aren't there more RF remotes on the market, especially in stuff like high end home theatre equiptment.

    Nintendo Entertainment System launched in 1985 for $199.99 _ $354.91 in 2005
    SEGA Genesis launched in 1989 for $249.99 ______________ $389.67 in 2005
    NeoGeo launched in 1990 for $699.99 ___________________ $1041.12 in 2005
    Super Nintendo launched in 1991 for $199.99 _____________ $282.21 in 2005
    Jaguar launched in 1993 for $249.99 ____________________ $328.69 in 2005
    3DO Interactive Multiplayer launched in 1993 for $699.95 ___ $920.30 in 2005
    SEGA Saturn launched in 1995 for $399.99 _______________ $497.66 in 2005
    Nintendo 64 launched in 1996 for $199.99 ________________ $242.75 in 2005
    SEGA Dreamcast launches in 1999 for $199.99 ____________ $228.09 in 2005
    PlayStation launched in 1995 for $299.99 _________________ $372.01 in 2005
    PlayStation 2 launched in 2000 for $299.99 ________________ $333.15 in 2005
    Xbox Launched in 2001 for $299.99 _____________________ $325.34 in 2005
    GameCube launched in 2001 for $199.99 _________________ $216.89 in 2005

So according to this, the launch price for the 360, when adjusted for inflation is actually below the historical average of $453.14, and probably only a little above average if you ignore the NeoGeo and 3DO. This also means that the Nintendo Revolution, if it launches at the predicted $149 or even $199, is going to be the cheapest console ever. And, unless sony pulled some piece of patent infringeing crap out of their ass at the last minute, the most technically advanced, not counting pure graphical performance.

Legitimate art too, if a museum has photos of its collection online and some paintings have naked people, or similarly, legitimate art nude photography. .kids is a much better idea. Places like cartoon network and disney and build a bear would of course sign up for .kids adresses, then parents have the option of filtering out everything BUT .kids, leaving their children only able to acess content thats preaproved. I think both should be implemented, but certanly not mandatory. Legit porn sites will keep a .com homepage, but will shift everything to .xxx. Porn sites dont want kids too see their stuff, kids dont have credit cards. Go to any big legitimate porn site and down at the bottom of their home page they have little icons for safesearch and netnanny and state their registration with these services.

If nintendo shipped with the old controller, or alowed developers to develop specifically for it, then nobody would utilize the new controller because its probably a lot more complicated. I think the shell will be their mostly for backwards compatability, to play GC games, and SNES-N64 games, you dont need anything else for NES/Famicom though, since if you turn the Rev controller sideways its exactly the same.

Yes, sarin is a nerve gas. And think about it, they pumped a bunch of poisin gas into a confined space with thousands of people, and managed to kill a total of 12. And this is the largest scale terrorist chemical attack ever!

    From wikipedia:
The first successful use of chemical agents by terrorists against a general civilian population was on March 20, 1995. Aum Shinrikyo, an apocalyptic group based in Japan that believed it necessary to destroy the planet, released sarin into the Tokyo subway system killing 12 and injuring over 5,000. The group had attempted biological and chemical attacks on at least 10 prior occasions, but managed to affect only cult members. The group did manage to successfully release sarin outside an apartment building in Matsumoto in June 1994; this use was directed at a few specific individuals living in the building and was not an attack on the general population.

Sucessful dispersal of chemical and biological agents is tough. Government funded programs have not been very effective, what makes anyone think that terrorists could come up with an effective delivery system.
