    A G4 tower is probably heavier than a classic iMac (not the lamp) and it also has nice handles. G5s have handles too, but they're too sweet to use in anything other than a life or death situation... Although an iMac might have better aerodynamics for distance though.

    Yeah, i've done glasswork, flux burns. But also if your using electronics solder, with the flux built it, the spatters will burn the top of your thighs pretty good. Not that i do boardwork in my boxers often...

    Most missles (ICBMs at least) would be flying above an airplane so the plane wouldn't be angled down when it fired. And these systems are designed to focus on the missle, if they miss, the beam would diverge just past where it expected to hit the missle.

    Do you really think they could get away with that? Redmond would be stormed by the military as soon as someone figured this out, i doubt apaches (the helicopter) run on windows. They would be bitch-slapped by our government and probably the rest of the world and bill would probably be hauled to the world court before you could say clippy. Anti-trust and anticompetative business practaces are nothing compared to what your suggesting. They're not stupid, theyre not gonna build a backdoor into longhorn and hold the world hostage for what, $100b? oh wait they already have that.     Thats fuckin beautiful. Must have been a pain to install all that though, its bad enough running all the hoses from the kegs in the cooler in the basement up to the bar. Probably either a money saver (less wasted beer/every drop is payed for) or people buy more beer because its right there.

    Is an IDE CD changer. They've had 100+ disc cd changers around for years, and they're only about the size of a computer case. It couldn't be that hard, just use the changer mechanism instead of a tray and have standard burner optics. I've often done a dozen or so cds at a time (archiving downloaded tv shows i've watched untill i get a larger HD) and would just like to Set It and Forget It! (tm) instead of coming back every 5 minutes and swapping discs and clicking the next list to burn.

    It doesn't have to be two different brands, but at least two different manufacturing batches. I've heard horror stories of people who picked up 4 identical disks off the store shelf for their raid array and had all of them fail at roughly the same time.

    With the energy being released at the backend theres enough to power some high energy magnetic field device to pass particles around or through the craft(and collect the stray hydrogen molecule). So particles aren't a big a problem, larger chunks would be though...

    There is a market for add-ons. Although most people who install fans in adition to where there are brackets/screw holes in their case can install one anywhere. Its really not difficult to cut a fanhole in the side of your case or a blowhole in the top.

    Most dell/compaq/hp cases do not come with filters, and most just come with exhaust fans and vents in the bezel or sidepanel.
