I'm suprised nobody posted about some of googles other new features, like package tracking, which has been a godsend. With hotmail (i only use it for shopping online) screwing up links like it does, the tracking links in the confirmation almost never work, but i can just c&p the tracking number into the google bar in opera now and have my summary in 2 clicks.
e-mail me about it if you've got enough space in a mail account, all 10 chapters are in divx4-fast motion at 480x320 and the whole season is 337 Mb, probly a few less if i zip it, otherwise IM me, or, i used a program called rad video tools, it does QT to divx ridiculously fast, wish i could find something that worked as well for RM format...
Well if you hacked your archos and put a 60gb HD in it you cant blame archos. Unless you had one of the larger video models... I've had my studio 20 for going on 2 and a half years and i listen to it at least 10 hours a day.
In response to the 2 sibling posters, Office, and especially microsoft Works load processes at startup. Things like ctfmon.exe and WkCalRem.exe, there are some others i'm looking at that i dont feel like looking up. I loaded my sisters desktop just to see what processes start that i usually kill right away. Things like Directcd.exe and WinCinemaMgr.exe... All the things i've mentioned are dissbable, but are defaults and a pain in the ass.
Black jack is one of the few games where there is actually a lot of skill involved and a good player can consistently win against the house. Games like roulette and craps are close to pure chance and the only real skill involved is strategic betting.
This being slashdot, i'll go out on a limb and assume your from the left and was reading the grandparent with leftist views in mind, but... how do you know he wasn't talking about the use of force to overthrow another tyrant recently. Regardless of what you think of the war, force used to oust a tyrant(regardless of the current problems) does seem to work. Just playing devils advocate, i think bush fucked up the country too, but i've also got some crazy views on the war...
Yeah, and i doubt theres wi-fi acess on everest. And another thing, you still have to plug it in.

That was the best example i could come up with of something thats still technically a theory that would disprove an accepted 'fact'. As for evolution, i said it hasn't passed scientific muster. But a large percentage of the world are Christian, and most of those Catholic. Not all Christian sects are as adamant about preaching "evilution (sic) is wrong" as the catholic church, as they, just last year iirc, admited that dinosaurs actually existed...
Is avalible on cartoon networks website(warning, lots of flash). Its avalible in streaming Quicktime and Real(gag), and you can google around for direct download links (looks like the first listings already slashdotted...). I've got all of them in divx at about 35mb apiece, not a bad series either, more deserving of the Star Wars title than some of the other cartoons that have been done(holiday special, and that droids cartoon i havn't seen but have heard was awful. and dont get me started on the ewok adventures...)
Cesium clock on earth, cesium clock on the shuttle. When it touched down the clocks were a few picoseconds different or something?

If you want to get technical everything is a theory because nothing can be really be proved. The 'fact' that the earth revolves around the sun would have to be re-evaluated if the theory of gravity were invalidated somehow (best example i can think of, anyone else wanna try?). Not arguing with you, just playing devils advocate. Also, evolution will always be a theory as long as we have Catholics, and although i believe it, i'll agree that theres not enough evidence as of yet to take it beyond a theory.
Yup, good points. Other technologies such as transwarp are achieved more through a hyperspace type travel, iirc. Basically traveling by warp through subspace.
IIRC they were sued for writing a program that crawled the student network and indexed everything, making the sharing of files somewhat(it was windows file sharing, already simple, shoulda sued microsoft, not the kids)easier.
yeah, last week my friends sister downloaded "Norton Anti-Virus" off of Kazaa. He told me over the phone while reformatting his drive that it was some 24kb file that was probably !norton_anti_virus!!!real!!!CrAcK-incl!!.vbs or something.

We already know about the existance of buggalo on mars...
Yeah, thats why windows has a "recycle bin". Although if you think of it in terms of disk space and not files that can make sense too.
