The choices are technically there. IF you scroll down, it will show all the choices. However, at first glance, it appears that there are only the 4 top choices.
The author is talking more about using tactics such as that, or obfuscated language to make users sign up unintentionally. By default most installations have choices for email set to yes by default, so people who next-click through the install agree to giving their souls away by clicking next.
This seems awful quiet for MandrakeSoft. Most of their releases contain a lot more info than that. I'm curious as to what else they might be hiding. Some deals with the devil might be in the works (By devil, I don't imply Microsoft).
This really makes me wonder about what their plans are for the near future, or if they have any significant plans. It will be interesting to see...
Just what most wireless people want, more traffic at 2.4 GHz. It's amazing how much traffic goes on at that bandwidth. I'll be glad when new frequencies are opened up for commercial use. We had quite a few 2.4GHz wireless radios that in many locations couldn't get a solid signal because of interference. We ended up switching to 5.8GHz in some locations to deal with the interference. It's for this reason I'm glad we dropped wireless, and went to phone based.
I seem to remember such a thing for unix/linux systems a while back, a search on google would probably find it.
I'm pretty sure no one liked it.(I think the creator got bashed for it actually.) Mainly for the reason that changing something to fix a worm might break another process running on your machine if not done the correct way.
If you are so worried about another machine trying to break into your own, I'd be securing yours better so you wouldn't have to worry...
Not only the drive-by-wire, brake-by-wire, steer-by-wire, docking connection; but the car is also skinnable! - Just what every geek wants, a skinnable interface. read here
As for the drive by wire, brake by wire, does that mean we will finally have real "backseat drivers"?
I never was really fond of graffiti, it was a pain to try to type in.
I finally learned, and got rather proficient at it. The breaking point was when I started to write on paper using graffiti. It was then I realized how dependant I was on it.
I guess this means, that there might actually be a big computer manufacturer that will back AMD. I'm sure AMD execs are drooling of the possibilities of having someone in their corner against Intel.
Too many people were dependant on them when I took programming classes in college. They'd write code carelessly, and then run it through the debugger, and do exactly what it said, instead of learning to code properly.
I have to agree, this is a really a book review, and not a bash sendmail topic. I don't know who modded your post as troll, but it shouldn't be. If I had mod points right now, I would have used them to mod up.
Intelligent post, I think the first one that doesn't bash sendmail. There should be a lot of -1 redundant mods on this one...

I doubt the hot air would make a significant impact. Moisture is more likely to affect mold then temperature, from personal experience.
I'm sure people often send you feedback about your software. What I would like to know is if you have any feedback that stands out. Mainly what is the most unusual/unique use someone has had for netsaint that you have heard of?
No matter what microsoft does, all they will get is a slap on the wrist. Microsoft will just point to staroffice and openoffice and say, hey, there's compitition, its not a monopoly.
Big deal if they don't open it up anyway (I don't really expect them to), staroffice/openoffice will crack it to a certain extent anyway. For most people's file conversions, its not that much of a difference to convert documents. Doesn't always look pretty, but it works fairly well.
Wake me up when something Microsoft does is suprising...
can someone help me with the review?

Is the TPM based platform limited to a particular operating system or microprocessor?
No. The TCPA specification is designed to be platform and OS agnostic. The TCPA specification is not limited to a specific platform, OS or CPU.
The specifications are available for download free from trustedcomputing.org - Any linux distro should be able to take advantage of them.
Its up to you to decide if you want to trust it or not, but that's what their website states.

I'd have to agree, seeing that xp reports back to home when you do file searches.
You can only imagine what it sends when you record tv....

Just my two cents

I agree to support Mandrake Linux, please send me to the Mandrake Linux Users Club Registration page now.
I'm already a member of the Club or plan on registering soon, please send me to the download page now.
Pretty Tacky if you ask me...
According to your thinking everyone who owned a gun is also a killer, making the US have about 80 million killers, from what numbers I can find.
According to your logic, I am a killer also since I own a gun, which its only purpose "is to kill"
