The implementation of this idea just looks lame.. The output from the system looks like something out of an old move about the future where when you watch it now you laugh.
Now if it created a hologram on the display end it might be usefull and cool.
Convergys operates in many countries..
One of the major US cell-phone companies uses Convergys and the call centre is in Canada.
Best story from a friend that works there:
Caller: "I think my phone is broken it truns off every time I try and answer it"
Support: "What button are you pressing when you answer the phone?"
Caller: "The Press when ringing button."
Support: "What? What exactly does it say on the button?"
Caller: "PWR"
Canada has had safe reactors for many years using a natural uranium fuel system that is delivered in packages to the core while it is running. CANDU Nuclear Power Plants
They taught word processing, and how to use a spread sheet. It really didn't matter what system it was on because the schools never taught anything but the general concepts.
Innovation in office products? Don't you mean bloat.
Word already does over 100 things I don't need it to do when I am writing a paper. You think it needs more?
Your Link is not relevent because THAT dictionary does not contain the word in the context of the computer device. Context of a word is very important.
I haven't had a cable connection for more than a year now.. I have high speed internet over ADSL. I surf and download what I want to watch now.. And most of what I watch can't be found on local cable anyway. (No I am not talking about Pr0n)
How about consistent audio quality? Windows Media Files may not be the best but I bet the quality is consistent. Attempting to get any less that popular music on regular P2P can often entail downloading 4 versions of the same song just to find pops, hiss or that it was captured from radio. True there is a great deal of good quality stuff our there but it is mixed with a great deal of crap.
I agree, if I was running a large network like that I would block P2P. The bandwidth cost savings alone would be worth it.
But then again this might bread a whole new form of file sharing or promote older ones like Newsgroups... It is interesting that they are blocking IRC.
Yes, It all depends on if the tracker server can take the request load. But the chances of that are far better than the chances of any single server hosting the file normally.

Tests have shown that 64 bit addressing is faster than 32bit/paged methods.

Maybe not bump in your search rating but they could make a section on the site like the Sponsored links accept they would be the hosted links.
The p800 and p900 also make better phones. I really don't like the form factor of the new Nokia devices such as the N-Gage and this thing.
unless he is running the tracker off of his DSL
You ever wonder if video game developers haven't already solved many of the AI issues in terms of driving?
The real problem would be getting the track information in real time and telling the AI what each object is.
Then again I am sure game developers get to cut a bunch of corners because the AI knows the track perfectly because it is a part of its system.

This is how spammers know that they found a working e-mail address.
Don't you need to renew and replace it every X years?
A virus is self replicating.

its hard NOT to have good Karma since they changed the system.

I would probably consolidate my whole music collection and video collection.
Combined with on of the many Home Theater PC projects it would make for one slick setup.
Video on demand from your own private collection.
