heh, i'm sure any number of the game-industry corporations they accept gifts from on a regular basis will help. although i'm quite cynical about them, i don't care to echo the sentiment that they are 'sellouts'. i'm not suggesting anything of the sort- they never had anything but their personal interests in mind, so it's more like a 'kids in a candy store' scenario.
they chose to become involved with the industry, so while i think american greetings are scummier than scum, i can't say i feel sorry for them. they embraced the exposure they were given, and now that penny arcade is more of a brand than a comic, it's ripe for the reaming by corporate peers.
just my opinion, worth about as much as the 'free arch deluxe' coupon i found in my glove compartment.
haven't seen ichi yet, but i actually bought a legitimate copy of odishon, and i got off on it. still, DoA is notable for the amount of zany shit that is pulled off in the course of the carnage. the scene with the dog comes to mind. classy stuff. is ichi more 'comically' weird, like DoA, or more 'freaky' weird, like odishon?
there's already a movie called 'dead or alive' in japan, and while it's not related to the game franchise [which i am honestly unfamiliar with other than having seen a screenshot or two], it's a wonderful film. it features the best hooker-in-a-kiddie-pool murder i've ever seen. it's spawned a couple sequels already, and it's only 2 years old. given the crappiness of videogame-based movies [save for a some anime], it's a safer bet. did i mention the kiddie pool is full of fecal matter?
it is healthy to spend 40 hours a week having sex. barring any relationship-related woes, which could cause psychological trauma & stress, as long as your partners are disease free & proper precautions are in place, there's no better exercise. there are few situations more social than sexual intercourse.
many black porn stars have this so-called 'white fucking power' whenever they have sex with white porn stars. i have this 'power' as well- what's so special about it?
let's be fair here. masturbating in an office in california never hurt anyone but said offices janitorial staff. well, perhaps a receptionist, but this is neither here nor there. the point is we all need to go to california before it falls into the ocean. reminds me of a song...
i'm sorry, i didn't realize the US government had suddenly become a collection of fairly functional agencies working in conjunction with one another. the last time i checked, a vast majority of government agencies were poorly managed, ineffectient, and competitive/uncooperative with other agencies. i guess i should pay more attention to the wonderful advances in government since this new administration took office.
what with the US government being suspicious of anything metallic (much less airborne) which beeps, whirs, clicks, or buzzes. unless, of course, they made/bought it, in which case, it's forced upon us for our own safety, regardless of our own opinions about big brother ramming GPS in every citizens ass.
"Seriously though, I think that in the 80s a huge importance was placed upon computer education. The common notion was that everyone will need to know how to operate a computer later in life."
thank god for that- else i wouldn't know to pack my wagon with loads of bullets and medical supplies, as most other things [save for rations, which the bullets took care of] turned out to be useless. my trip into a new frontier was indeed a success.
...because peter jackson is likely to see not one red cent of the profits from said sale? it'd be a better idea to send the artist/director/etc a couple bucks directly and opt for the pirated version. in most circumstances, i buy only independent releases of both film and music, both of which i purchase on a reasonably regular basis. if large corporations have a content-producer in their lurches who i feel is worthwhile [note: it's not very often that this occurs], i pirate it without a second thought. i'm not going to perpetuate their contract with a label or studio who i feel is the Embodiment of All That Is Evil.
i don't see political correctness as liberal at all. it's a sort of self-righteous conservativism, much like the religious right. censorship is totally out of line whoever wants to implement it. i don't really consider myself fond of nazis but i'll be damned if i'll support someone who wants to supress what our fascist buddies have to say. unpopular speech needs to be protected- it's why the first amendment exists. tipper gore=/=liberal.
i bought stephen king's 'the stand' which has 8 hours or so of video on a single double-sided, dual-layered disc. the question is if there were a format which could capture everything a person experienced in their life, a 24/7 documentary of their existence... who'd want to waste their life watching 80 years or so of mostly boring video? the format would only work if it were applied to someone who lived for about 5 hours... and that's a recipe for a lot of very depressing documentaries about dying babies.:\
Chasuk said "Not all businesses are run by predatory immoral bastards."
agreed. for example, i once saw a child on the sidewalk selling kool-aid. just because not all businesses are run by 'predatory immoral bastards' is no reason to believe roadrunner isn't screwing people over. i don't think little suzy downloading mp3s of britney spears makes her a thief... i think it makes her an idiot, but not a thief. even if it is technically against the law, i think an isp offering 'unlimited internet access' should refrain from LIMITING in regards to specific ports or protocols.
i have a friend who lives in houston- for the past few weeks he's complained constantly about his problems with fasttrack programs- i've gotten him to try them all. he's reporting the same problems with kazaa lite as with kazaa, and he has the same exact problem. he has a clean system, i got him to check everything. it's not an isolated incident, but publicity of it (until now) has been basically nil. the problem is, most of these people are either too afraid of Big Brother to ask RR for tech-support or answers about it, or they think the problem is the fault of fasttrack.
sounds like SimHitler- i don't want any part of that action.
actually, as is the case with many atari games, simply playing the game is winning.
see if you can find the megal33t secret warez portal by clicking different regions of the picture.

i liked resident evil, but i must admit, it totally sucked. zombies can make any movie watchable, in my opinion.

i have a feeling you will never have sex unless an exchange of currency is involved.
did snoop dogg get ahold of my name or something?
the riaa probably can't wait to confiscate them, either.

that's what iThink.

but some of my friends like the game which shares its name.
yes, but maybe next time you should refrain from shaking the machine vigorously and pounding random keys maniacally whilst doing so. it helps.
