Chips are not fucking smart, cards are not fucking smart, materials are not fucking smart, a person may or may not be smart, an animal like a dog might be smart, inanimate objects are not smart or intelligent or clever or fucking astute!
I don't watch TV but when I do watch video online that has that kind of loud unskipable commercial I just mute it preemptively. (also applies to stuff like the TED start music) If it was a reasonable volume I might keep it on and just ignore it but this way they just lose me altogether, I don't get why they'd want to do that.
Using a USB dongle where I study can infect it with anywhere between 1 and 4 different malware, I don't know, maybe the IT staff are incompetent, maybe it the large number of Macs leaving them with not much experience with Windows, maybe it's just the heavy use of USB dongles.
It wouldn't be a good idea to stick your dongle into one of those machines without protection.
And things are starting to come out that are somewhat interesting but what's really fascinating to me is that this is sort of like an archive of the correspondence in World War 2 being opened to the public, only it's for right now, or close to now, a snapshot of the history of the present if you will. It lets the world see a reflection of itself (though the state-trooper authority sunglasses of US diplomats) and where the path we're on might be leading. So it might be a historical moment and it might just be that a bunch of people will get pissed off and and it'll blow over. And I should probably get some sleep because I'm babbling.
What's the latest in avoiding this sort of DDoS, if you suspect something like this is coming, are there solutions for distributing websites over p2p while still verifying the source, something involving torrents and public key cryptography?
Well, personally I prefer looking through the viewfinder, I suppose it's just a preference of how to hold a camera and not having to be limited to a certain amount of pixels for the display.
With that said, the new Canon 60D is I believe the first EOS camera with a flip-out display which I would definitely find useful in certain situations and I imagine you'll see that on later generations of EOS cameras.
Also the Fujifilm Finepix X100 looks like a pretty cute little camera and seems to have some sort of hybrid display/rangefinder viewfinder.
You'll notice they attack the cops as well. This is taking place in a part of Jerusalem called Mea Shearim, populated by ultra orthodox Jews that don't acknowledge the state of Israel, burn trash containers and spit or worse on passers by when something is not to their liking. It's a pretty unique place in that regard and is not indicative of any pretty much any other place in Israel.
No point linking to wikipedia, everyone has heard of it already.

I believe it's what you get when someone hears you like distributed denial of service attacks.

It's directed by this guy named Uwe Boll who's apparently made like a ton of these adaptations so he must be really good at it.
Ha, sucker, my house is a hybrid, you wouldn't believe how much electricity you can generate from regenerative breaking of continental drift.
Do any of the tags contain the string 'whatcouldpossiblygowrong' on them?

What's his superpower, transmuting money into douche?
More like 'In Soviet Russia open source code releases you!'
Sounds more like an MCSE test than a geek test.
I'd imagine it would solve a signification portion of all those unsolved damsel-tied-to-train-tracks cases.

When they came for the leechers...
Well, considering Christianity has about 600 years of a head start on Islam they seem to be pretty much at the same stage respectively.
As an Israeli I have no goddamned fucking idea what you're talking about.
Ha, screw that, we're halving our chips in the time dimension!
Are you trying to imply correlation is not causation on Slashdot, you extravagant risk-taker?
