  1. NOKIA and dictionaries... on Alphanumeric Phone Keypad - Fastap · · Score: 5, Funny
The "three-letter-per-number" slows the typing, sure. Or better say it did.

NOKIA, for example, has dictionaries in the newer mobile phones.

Meaning, you just press each "number" just once, even if the "letter" is the last one under this "number." The dictionary does the guessing and writes the right word.

Besides, it words as an automatic spellchecker!!! No need to be ashamed your messages now. No one's going to laugh at your bad grammar.

  2. It's a stupid movie: FACE IT! on Review: Star Wars Episode II, Attack of the Clones · · Score: 1

Lucas is just trying to cash in on the old stuff. but he's lost it. The "new" Star Wars is... well it just isn't!

  3. Re:Price hasn't dropped enough on Xbox Price Drops to $200 · · Score: 1

Actually, I might... and not just one... but it all depends if I could recycle them (without any cost). Obviously, I wouldn't keep any of these cursed things.

  4. Mac OS X on VOCAL: Open Source VoIP Software for Linux · · Score: 1

Take a look at hppt://www.versiontracker.com there are several video-conferencing/netphone applications for Mac OS X. However, I don't know what they are based on as I don't have any of them myself.

  5. Prince? on Kazaa, Verizon Propose Compulsory Music Licensing · · Score: 2, Informative

  6. Does this mean deaf people would also be charged? on Kazaa, Verizon Propose Compulsory Music Licensing · · Score: 2, Interesting
It occurred to me that not ALL people download music. Moreover, not ALL people listen to music in the first place. There are people who are deaf.

Now they will be made to pay for downloading music that they never download nor ever listen????

  7. No spying: just billing! on Kazaa, Verizon Propose Compulsory Music Licensing · · Score: 1
The idea appears to be that no one will spy on you. Instead, you will be charged $1 a month REGARDLESS IF YOU DOWNLOAD OR NOT!!!!!!!

I think this is what we should fight against!

  8. Re:Adams again? on Slashback: Towel, Linkage, Drafthouse · · Score: 1

I would suggest you visiting a doctor ASAP!

  9. Re:Wireless devices during a movie on Slashback: Towel, Linkage, Drafthouse · · Score: 1

Personally, I think POPCORN should be banned from theaters. Mind me, but I can't make half as much noise using my keyboards (except maybe if I slam it against someone's head) as the popcorn eating monsters around me!!!

  11. I don't trust 'em on Kazaa, Verizon Propose Compulsory Music Licensing · · Score: 1

Kazaa has a fame to use whatever spyware and things. So, I personally don't really like anything that comes from "their mouth." How can I trust such a company?

  12. M$ vs. B$ on Microsoft Urged Linux Retaliation · · Score: 1, Flamebait
I've began asking my self, why we always refer to this company as "M$"?

Is it because they have blackmailed "Millions of $s"?

In that case, wouldn't it be more suitable to use "B$" as they have blackmailed "BILLIONS of $s"...

No, but wait! Wouldn't that sound then like it's a "Bull$..." company?!?!?

  13. Re:who'd rape a chat-kiddie ? on How Dangerous is Online Chat for Kids? · · Score: 1

Indeed. However, I think that Americans are nuts to start with so I don't expect any rational behavior from their part. I think Americans should be banned from chats!!!! They could corrupt us!

  14. Did you read before you copied? on How Dangerous is Online Chat for Kids? · · Score: 2, Informative

Sometimes it's better to read before you copy and paste what ever happens on your way. If you carefully read the sentence you have pasted: the second part talks about PEOPLE in general. Contrast this with the first part that talks about DISTURBING PERVERSION. Learn to read before you start shouting. Thanx

  17. Re:bankrupt the world on Microsoft's $40 Billion On Hand · · Score: 1

In fact, they're making more money available that banks can loan us When did you take the last econ class? Don't you realize that if they pay out dividends there will be still the same amount of money in the system, i.e., the same amount of money available for loans. If they payout dividends, the money just goes from one account to another. Nothing changes for the BANK! or the money available for loans.

  18. Re:It's about tax evasion... on Microsoft's $40 Billion On Hand · · Score: 1

M$ is screwing much more wider public than US, it's world wide. And the people in Asia, who still get screwed by M$, cannot elect people in US. You might say, well, it's their problem, let them elect better representatives in Asia. But the thing is that since many transactions nowadays are made over internet, the local governments have nothing to say in this. I'm very close to suggest "Let's nationalize M$!" but more like in a global manner...
