Mods are not new, people edited the hell out of the Dooms, I even had a kill barney(damn puple dinosaur) mod for wolf 3d. If your interested in a low cost high quality game engine you can make your own games with take a look at Garage Games You can license the Tribes 2 engine, known as Torque, for next to nothing and make commercial games with it even.

But of course it would fail. People watch the Osbornes, Nic & Jessica, Ashlee, Carmen & Dave, Anna Nicole, etc., because they're celebrities (though I don't understand why that would be enticing). I doubt the Sims qualify.

People actually watch these shows because they like to laugh and the absurdly stupid exploits of human cartoons. Why not just let the viewer set the traps for the characters to fall in.

Sorry I just have to call ya on this one, never happen. I might give you that if we weren't talking about the stoned kid the grandparrent post mentioned. More likely stoned steals pizza, discovers computer, dissapointed orders pizza and loads some game, or what i'd do is use it as a really neat SNES emulator.

I'm all for smoking bans in public places, I love being able to go to the bar and not come back having 2nd handed 2 or 3 packs worth. I only smoke with other smokers, outside away from people. Not effecting anyone else. For the love of god, why are you advocating draconian laws against the substance. I bet you think other drug laws a good too. DEATH for growing tobacco, did a tobacco farmer kill your parrents or something?

I think it's just wrong you think that way.
