If you know anyone interested in hiring someone as an application developer for Linux systems let me know. WTL code has been avialible out on web sights and in Windows documentation for at least 3 years now ( I know because I used it in one of my apps) and the liscense for it was pretty much open source ( ie freely distributable / downloadedable ) all that time. Actually they tried to squash the thing for a while. It has been mostly user supported all that time because it is code that "accidentally" escaped from thier labs. Also, WTL is a alternative to using MFC's which is the technology they were pushing at the time. I think what they are doing is tring to get some free publicity in the OSS world by publishing something as OSS that already was. Either that or someone in microsoft who likes WTL wants to see it kept alive and sees this as the best way.

Removing all the discipline and skill from poetry and making it little more then a word scrambling contest. How long would people continue to have intrest in watching professional soccer ( football ) if we eliminated the score board and the goal posts, so it required no particular skill or even a basic knowledge of a structure to play the game. Also, remember no one now wins or loses and there is no player better then another no matter what they might do because there are no rules. Poetry is a discipline and there are different forms, but rhyme and rhythem are the two required elements.
I live in an area that is also famous for UFO sightings. The western panhandle of florida. Funny thing is I also live near two large airforces bases. One that has a large research and development staff and the other that specializes in co-vert ops and secret equipment. -- Seriously just becouse it is unidentified and flies doesn't mean people didn't make it.
WTL code has been avialible out on web sights and in Windows documentation for at least 3 years now ( I know because I used it in one of my apps) and the liscense for it was pretty much open source ( ie freely distributable / downloadedable ) all that time. Actually they tried to squash the thing for a while. It has been mostly user supported all that time because it is code that "accidentally" escaped from thier labs. Also, WTL is a alternative to using MFC's which is the technology they were pushing at the time. I think what they are doing is tring to get some free publicity in the OSS world by publishing something as OSS that already was. Either that or someone in microsoft who likes WTL wants to see it kept alive and sees this as the best way.
