    What company's products are you using?

    I've seen penty of companies promising this sort of thing, but in the frequency we're using we're fairly limited as to distance (NLOS is a relaity only within 1 km of base station). ETSI says 1 watt max, we use 1 watt. If we could do 10 watts, I'd imagine we'd see something more interesting (it would be nice)..

    You're using the 2.5 ghz frequency, right?

    It's a viable alternative until it starts impacting the spammer's bottom line, then they'll integrate another 50 lines of code in their spambots, and have it retry again after x amount of minutes.

    I use, but I know for sure that it won't work forever.

    But how do you control multiple vehicles moving at supersonic speeds in 3 dimensional space? I realize that most fighter pilots have things like g-forces to deal with, but even without that, there's a lot to think about in terms of movement, relation of your plane to target/other planes/other incidental objects..

    Just seems like some serious overload to me.

    It's lead to more of the same, people in power using said power to their advantage, the people who get in trouble are the "usual sacrificial lambs" and the real forces behind the wiretapping, will as always, get off scot free.

    If you do symetric udp connectivity, you can be behind a NAT without to many issues, all that needs to happen is the software needs to use the same udp port for both outgoing and incoming calls.

    Been looking into it, as I'm setting up an Openser server for VOIP connectivity.

    Where the rights we all have mean people can do bad things. The right to bear arms mean people can kill other people easily, yet it's a right that also helps guarantee freedom. The right to free speech means that people can incite hatred, or ruin your life, but it's also a right which helps guarantee your freedom.

    That's the whole neat thing about freedom, it won't guarantee your safety, but that isn't something anyone can guarantee in any case..
