Actually, most of the workstations of the animators are linux.
The animation director's is a dual 2ghz xeon running limux. He told me so. He also told me they'd be changing in a few years, but wouldn't tell me what to:(
Only to audiophiles who use worthless and unquantifiable terms like "warmth" and "roundness".
A good quality cd in a good quality system is more than adequate for any normal human being who doesn't base their life's worth on the amount of vacuum (sp) tubes in their living room.
This could have potentially revolutionary social effects...
Or, no-one could care less. If it doesn't get downloaded, installed, etc, on a lot of computers, the social effects are going to be pretty insignificant.

Not true!
I still have one arm, and ever since I got back on the meds, I haven't hit a rack in months.

Most of the people I've met from there are just big kids, although I haven't had a chance to see them work. Dylan for example, reminded me of a few of my fith grade classmates.
Nothing personal, but you pay 10,000 yen for 128kbps, but you think something that increases the bandwidth by a power of 3 (or 6 or whatever) should only cost you 5,000 more a month?
Great, so a bunch of people make the OS, but nobody does anything with it. Sounds like a wonderful idea.

192 Kbps mp3s sound as good as i need em to, I can't imagine needing more than that.
I was also under the impression that Ogg Vorbis encoded ones sounded better at slightly lower bitrates. Should be a non-issue IMHO.
What a convoluted way to say I agree.
Microsoft bought an AV company to combat that (RAV), and people got pissed about that.
Can you guys make up your minds?
Beckham's going to Milan, mark my words.
Especially if Man U can get Shevchenko plus money for him.
You've obviously never played the game then...
It's a flash game, but I do not remember exactly where. Some site with a tank for a logo.
.sm, it is more or less, just 1 city, and not a whole lot bigger than the vatican.
I haven't been able to understand this from the mailscanner page (yet), but what sort of F-prot do you need to integrate with mailscanner?
The linux workstation edition?
The full blown mail server scanner seems to be overkill, as it should do the job by itself.
I gots gots ta get it..
Viruses.
Betty Crocker always used correct english.
Great show, one of my top 5 episodes.
Wait, it's still there, and this story has a palm.
Damned ugly they are.
I have icons disabled, because the icons they use are just butt ugly, but a litle while ago I had the bill borg icon above the story about ballmer.
You have to love works in progress.
Ahhhhh. That makes a lot more sense :)
Big difference between 12 and 768, damn.
Not really.

Wish I was talented enough to work there.

Damn you're optimistic
First hey need to have more bandwidth, without a serious infrastructure, 14.4 Mbits won't mean shit, if the rest of the network is still slow.
Really, there's barely enough to go round now, what happens when all these people start wanting real time video calls, etc?
Who?
You could probably specify men there, not a lot of women with testicular cancer in the world.
Uh, isn't 54 - 20 = 34?
