Maybe what I have is the sequal but I was playing that game just last month and my brother started playing last week. Still 256 color but the cats and cheese couldn't look any better!
This may sound like a scary fact at present time but basic handwriting will hopefully be replaced with graffiti once pda's with CDMA/wireless are cheap enough for kids to carry around instead of cellphones with digital cameras *shudder*.
Thats great, I wish/. was around when car batteries were first being put out into the market.
"ohh ohh the sulfer next to the radiator! eat hot death!"
"What, now I gotta water my radiator AND my battery?"
"maybe they should setup a fill system where you only fill one container and that will take care of the radiator, winshield wiper and battery"
Bah, You swipe your vons card as your groceries are being tallied and there is an monitor display with news and advertising there already, waiting for your attention. If you shop at Vons they know better then you when your wife is on the rag. But do they change the advertising with your buying habbits?
For those who dont shop at vons (bless you): No, they dont.
SWEET! -if I can get a reader for cheap

I want a reader with good range, able to ping within 5 feet. Maybe 3, then I just need one for the fridge and one for the cubbord and not have to worry about noise interferance from the trash can. Very exciting stuff boys and girls! Tonight when I had to decide what to make for dinner I had to walk into the kitchen and look around for what I had. THEN I realized I had no milk for my macaroni and cheese. Once these RFID's meet with grocery stores i can see whats avalable from my pda! webtablet! tv! iloo! ipod! cellphone!
I was annoying my friends years ago about how I was going to make this system myself and sell it to the police. Didn't know they already had it, i'm giving up on my tinfoil hat, they can still steal my ideas. Time to ante up and get a lead hat!
But at least its proven technology now, so anyone interested in making a package that will identify the license plates of police cruisers to put in civilan cars? Its only fair.
Your missing the point, without trying to cause a panic/. is trying to warn those of us that can read between the lines, that SAR's is now infecting hardware components!
Sticking my neck out I think Microsofts XP Media Center Edition is the best solution out there for PC DVRS. For those of you who can't afford the $1300 price for an MCE machine tag you can download the MCE add on to XP if you are an MSDN subscriber (or search "media centre edition" on your favorite p2p). MCE has alot of great features and the interface is of course very clean compared to the other PC DVR software. There is not monthly cost for the guide, its just, nice.
This is floodgate for any flybynight company to spoof error messages in banners. Whats the worst that could happen now? They have to stop showing them? in 30 days?
I saw a banner the other day that looked like a full blown dos session pronouncing errors occuring and click to continue to finish installation.
I was afraid to read in case it sounded anything like the post,
What boggles the mind is how social forecasters can so easily bypass longstanding privacy concerns by simply ignoring the horrific examples of abusive governments throughout history. How can a responsible thinker so easily shrug off the need to protect oneself from the unknown abuses of the future just because one may think things are relatively agreeable at present?"
The rest of the world doesn't have time to play 'secure the box' against even simple attacks. Yes the users are at a percentage of fault, but its very small and their only out of pocket should only be the time in calling their provider to dispute and eliminate the bill. Alot of us around here are used to learning things the hard way, (there was a time when you could boot a machine without a cooling fan you know).
To the savy default password is the same as no password. But for the rest of the world there is a big difference when you assume how secure something is.
I agree, open relays are the fault of their owners. But this is not the same thing, this is a consumer product. You should not have to assume a $10,000 liability for operating a voicemail box!
A system administrator who runs an insecure website which gets hacked and becomes a warez server for a month untill he/she gets a huge bill for bandwidth usage. They have to pay up.
Aunt May gets a voicemailbox last week and gets hacked, revceiving the similar sized bill as the sysadmin. Does getting a voicemail leave you with the same liability as running a website?
(btw the obvious answer is 'no')
And how DARE the phone company keep a collect call connected for over 6 hours, above ALL things this is the worst offence on their end.
But you sir... without calling you an elitist bastard, I just want to say I hate you now.
*thinks for a minute* god I hope I'm not getting trolled...
Hopefully he wont be hurt too much financially with legal fee's defending himself. In the end I hope it will work out for his carrer with all the publicity.
I dont think its common practice to proxy ssh connections.

Interesting point, is this a sign of the times? I know I never would have gotten my first linux installation online without some help on IRC.

I like to name variables after favorite characters. It actually helps me to renember thier purpose better then standard naming styles.
Sounds like what XML was supposed to do in the first place.
Hey I renember you people... I gave you a project and you gave me all these reasons why it will work...
It didn't work. But you gave me twice as many reasons why the next try it will work. So you tried again.
Eventually it was obvious that the world was just not ready for every arctitecture to seamlesly integrate with others.
I'm not touching it!
I'm going back to post it notes, you guys call me when you figure it all out.
