From a guy that loves Law and Order, The Practice, The Guardian, and other lawyer shows, this is like Star Trek, Time Cop, and Law and Order rolled into one!
Marathon? Great gameplay? It was a wanna-be quake/doom clone at best. I remember that we were forced to play it at the university lab because (of course) they bought all macs due to educational discounts. The whole time we all wished we were playing quake. Bolo is a tight game though.
Because they are greedy? Please. Its more like they are bored and wanted to try a game they had no intentions of buying ever. If it was a almost surefire hit, like a warcraft III for example, they probably would've had it on pre-order at www.ebworld.com
I vaguely remember the original quote. It was something like they came for the jews, and I was not one so I stayed silent. (Or something like that) Could anyone tell me what the passage was and who the author was?
Comedy imitates life. What are the chances of someone being named Mike Rowe, and then deciding to start a business with software or something in mind. And then to put that all together and register a domain name that sounds amazingly like micro$oft. Sounds like the plot of a very funny Seinfeld episode.
Yeah I have to agree about the students like cuter things in color. My sister was in the market for a new mp3 player and is just completely fixated on the cuteness of the ipod. Even with better value offerings from dell or rio or creative labs, she was willing to pay more for an ipod because it slim and cute. *sigh*
Or does it seem like the N-gage is some mythological electronic item that everyone is talking / bitching about, but no one has it, or its not available in a store to demo? With all of the press i'd like to try it out, but I never see it anywhere working.
He isn't doing a good job of maintaining his systems. I have a similar family used network environment, and I find that by ignoring all "problems" other than showstoppers (ie internet doesn't work) I find that I waste very little time.
At least you aren't called on to do stupid stuff like register whole new screen names for online games because your dad lost too many times on the old one and doesn't know how to register.
You know what? That is so true. The thing that got me into computers in the first place was that it was so easy to download games and install them on my computer then it was to pester my dad to go down to the video store and rent/buy a game.
Which is another reason for the record companies to make buying stuff just plain easier. I think iTunes is a step in the right direction, easy as pie to download a track that you get to preview.
It's like the Borg assimilating the forces of darkness from the Lord of the Rings.

Glad to see this project coming along nicely.

First google takes them down, then slashdot. Someone must really not like fractals. :)

Yeah well we are talking about at the time a difference of almost 100+ dollars. Plus she doesn't have a job.

Is figure out a way us regular mortals to get in on the IPO. :D
As others have said, you put the theme on classic and turn off all the fading effects and you have nice very stable OS.
Anyone still using win9x really ought to upgrade to windows 2k/XP. It will save you a lot of headaches.

What the hell kind of router did you buy that can't handle ten computers online?
Did he send all of this mail from his house? I'm interested so I can avoid getting caught the next time I go crazy and spam.
I'm actually surprised that many people incriminated themselves.
Haha no, you know the victory music that plays after you win a battle.
This is cool news... Why do I hear the victory music from Final Fantasy right now. :)
