Judaic scholars have been discussing that a lot longer than you might think, and the consensus that I know of is that it would be considered kosher. If my memory serves me correctly 2000 years ago (good memory huh...) the Talmud was already asking the kosher status of an animal that was born by caesarian section which would have the same status as a printed piece of meat as it would be considered made by man. However the only real answer will come when they actually print one.

partialy. I feel that one of the worst mistakes of moo2 was that they didn't have a option for fast combat on individual battles. Even at the end of the game it is still fun to find out what 500 mauler beams do to a titan class ship, but how many times do you want to watch 50 ships move just to take over a barely defended planet?

Right on. I love how everybody talks about american poverty and yet the whole world wants to immigrate here. Yes in america you have to start at the bottom but how many people become succesfull with time. You don't get your guaranteed standard of living but you do get endless possibilities. America is the land of Star Trek... it has it's problems but the future is always seems so much brighter.

true. But they also dont mention how much more efficient Linux is to the afformentioned. The $200 dollar Linux machine might seem much faster than the $400 dollar machine that runs "millions" of programs.

If you read any of the previous posts you might see surprise surprise, that many die hard Linux users, myself included, actually like XP and in some cases BETTER than Linux! The question you have to ask yourself is how come after 20+ years microsoft finally come out with a half way decent OS? It's because they are (Very) slowly losing the OS war to Linux and they realize it. However I can see features that each side has gotten from the other (to numerous to list) and the answer is COMPETITION and research drives better designs not any one side or company.

All these ideas are never usable because of power concerns. The science has been there for years but who is going to want a mower that can only mow for 30 minutes before a recharge? How about after two years when the battery is down to 10 minutes? All of these technologies will only become worth while when fuel cells take off. You obviously Don't live in NY. How is anybody suppose to see the ads? Yes we eliminated all crime and the subways have no more graffiti, But the subway windows are the dirtiest you have ever seen. The only graffiti they can't get rid of is people scratching messages on the windows. Who knows, maybe they'll use some of the ad revenue to clean the windows.

Good doggy. You get a MSbone (c)(t)(r). Shame on you for comparing a server operating system to a desktop operating system. What ever your personal biases have to be to keep your job why don't you at least wait until they start making real linux desktop systems before writing editorials comparing them Red Hat has just finally said they are going to begin making desktop oriented versions. Scared huh? What do you have to say about star office being the number one seller on amazon even though there has been no marketing associated to it. Why is win XP selling so poorly other MS OSs have come out in recessions? Why is MS profits down so much lately? I'm not saying I feel that open source is the way to go. I agree that a software industry must survive on more than goodwill but you should be ashamed of your self for taking cheap and desperate looking shots.

Great catalog and product info. All else stinks. On one occasion I bought a bare-bones and had to spend two days trying to figure out why the computer wouldn't boot until I figured the memory they sent was worthless. If I didn't have double of all parts it would have been near impossible. On another occasion I had to spend 10 minutes on hold just to place my order then an HOUR waiting on hold for the credit verification just to find out they had canceled my order and had to do the whole thing again if I want to place my order. It was only the tenth time I was ordering from them (and last) you would think they would accept my card. USE caution!!!
