At the time of writing this comment, they have implimented a facebook-login in order to see your list. I attempted to use their captcha device instead, because I hate facebook (which was somewhere around 20 characters long, case sensitive). I tried to enter the captcha about 15 times using different images and each time it told me I was wrong. I don't believe it is possible to login by their captcha and they are mandating the facebook.com login.
I suspect this website might be a trap / facebook scraper. Earlier in the day I was able to see 'my results' which were incorrect.
On the subject of MythTV, I have been looking into setting up a PC Multimedia Center. Does anyone know a list of distros on this topic? Some distros I have found are:
Ideally, I am looking for a distro that I can set up in my living room, and, giving non-linux-savvy-guests a mouse/keyboard they can navigate their way to video games (ROMS), videos or TV. I have browsed the distros above, but would like to know what else is out there before commiting countless hours configuring it.
But you had to write it on paper This presented many difficulties. Numeber one, I type faster than I write. Second, Making sure everything is properly 'typed' or 'written' properly (semicolons, brackets, puncuation etc) is much easier for me to recognize on screen than paper. Thirdly, I can't run it to test if it works! I don't know about you, but for me, I like to test out my code as I write it to make sure it works. It's like a spell/grammer-checker. And that grammer checker can point out huge mistakes I may have made on mistakes. In the case of English, you may realise that teh sentance has no relevance to the paragraph, and perhaps it belongs elsewhere. And I see a parallel in programming and using a compiler to check code. Not to mention copy/paste! When I write code, I know there will be mistakes - can one expect to code perfectly? I didn't like the test. (And I'm bitter because I got a lower score than I think I would have been capable with using a computer)
Seemingly 90% of the posts I looked at were some sort of joke as to viruses and service packs. It gets real old, real fast. Just answer the damn question! After installing drivers and such, this is my list:
Trillian Winamp5 K++ / K-Lite Codec Pack Real Alternative/Quicktime Alternative Opera FileZilla PeerGuardian MS Office Photoshop WinRAR Nero ActiveSync
I have semi-off-topic question about wireless service.
I dislike cell-phones, but would not be opposed to checking my email on a regular basis on my Ipaq if it were equiped with wireless internet adapter+service.
I'm a tight-budget college student, and the problem I've seen is all wireless plans are like $60/mo
Anyone have any suggestions/guidance? $20/mo would be nice, and if it helps anything, I live in the San Diego area.
That reminds me of a time in High School, I'll spare the story but in short, in involved a dynamicly created page using the subdomain, example:
http://you.isgay.com/
Where 'you' could be anything like http://john.doe.isgay.com/
Very amusing to the techno-savvy. Eventually the creator got so many emails he made it more obvious it was a trick.
I intend to write this man a simple 'thank you' e-mail. I would encourage other slashdotters to do the same. Most politicians want to be popular. Thank you emails would express that what he's doing is a popular idea (amongst us anyways)

Are you saying that debit cards are more of a risk than credit cards? (I actually don't know, serious question). Enlighten me.

http://www.davedina.org/content/ (this looks promising, but is still in infancy stages)

What is the difference between Gecko and KHTML? (Honest question)
When I took the test it was based on C++

Thanks for the info. I've never heard of this one but it looks pretty interesting. I might want to try it.
Wait-wait-wait.. so Microsoft is claiming ownership of the name 'Windows' and 'MikeRowe'
Yet they hypocraticly think it's OKAY for them to use the 'Matrix Reloaded' popular name as a platform for their new campaign?
WTF!?

I use a chest of drawers, you know, the kind you usually put your clothes in.
I'll bet this question ahs already been asked, but I didn't see the answer. If Family Guy is No. 4 top seller, then what are the first three?

It's time we asked a Slashdot poll. Who is the greater evil? Microsoft, RIAA/MPAA, SCO, or Verisign?
