    exploration at extremly high cost.

    is hot news.

    slashdot, yahoo, etc. dont even mention nanotechnology.

    the europeans, asians and australians are
    predicting the future of next industrial
    revolution because of nanotechnology.

    congress did pass a small budget for nano last wk.

    crap ola article. At least I've put my
    neck on the line again and again and given
    evidence or atleast factual info relating to
    my comments.

    Patents dont stiffle innovation, What a Stupid
    unknowing and contrary opinion !

    If all of the ideas for innovative medical
    advancements are patented, then why do we still
    have the common cold, flu, cancer, unknown
    disease, hiv, aids, etc. by the way, any solution
    that cures these ailments is patentable !!

    darling Sony representative.

    it shows the technical prowwess of slashdot, I
    already have a negative one (-1) for honesty and
    I dare say I will be banned after this latest
    honest comment, so be it, I dont like censorship
    or judgement by Yahooers' or slashers'.

    this article misrepresents the many years of
    hard work by honest scientist trying to
    promote real technology like 3d holographics,
    mems, and nanotechnology storage.

    I hope Michael Black the inventor of 3D
    lcd glasses is reading this article as it
    surely violates one of his 50 patetns !!

    3D = length, width,depth - volume holographics

    the fields of view and viewing angles possiblities
    are a different as night and day.

    maybe this company is trying to get around
    patented technology by being sneeky ??

    advice. I hope this doesnt ruin my -1 rating
    as I thoroughly enjoy the solitude.

    Lawyers dont invent, they only file an invention.

    That means you need to search and find any
    prior art. Write you own patent following the
    procedure in patents book. Filing the patents
    and other forms in yellow patent handbook
    plus the small entiy fee around $ 400 to 500
    will get you patent into the patent examiners hands. I dont know latest fees.

    after a period of time depending on prior art
    this could be from 6 months to 3 years, the
    less time the better. It means no one has
    taught the art typically and is good.

    When the patent office comes back with office action items now get your patent attorney to
    clean up any wording or drawings. he will
    charge anywhere from $ 500 to $ 2,000 based on
    his estimate. Get several quotes from
    attorneys and find out how long in biz. its
    better to find alone attorney than a big firm, cheaper and faster.

    this is the quickest way and cheapest. do most
    of the work and you will save time, money, frustration,and hopefull get your patent.

    anyway I seriously doubt either way it
    can work. Too many photon time quantum
    energy calculations that have to be exact.
