    My mistake. It turns out that the online version now allows you to submit directly, without the need for a intermediate file. I believe both were offline, but of course both are online now.

    In both the desktop and web version of Turbo Tax, you still download a ".tax" file that you then have to log into the government site and upload (known as Netfile). You do not file directly using the TurboTax software. So this will block both desktop and web-based TurboTax users. The only information required to access NETFILE is your Date of Birth and your Social Insurance Number. But you probably don't want people get a hold of that information either. Or your bank account if it is included in the file you are uploading.

    Yup, I see the same thing in my Google Chat history... 12/31/69, even for this morning's chat. Not all days are 24 hours long (in local time, or if you have to deal with leap seconds). Not all years are 365 days long. February is not always 28 days long.

    But where I live near Victoria, they have just put in a horribly confusing system of THREE roundabouts and a bridge. They even have a simulation animated video that is somehow supposed to show how simple and congestion-free it is. Thankfully I don't have to take this every day.

    I haven't seen mention of how many of these new uber controllers can be active at a time. Just one? Hopefully two. I'm guessing the streaming video will limit on the number they can support.

    This is a few minutes away from where I live: A driver got a ticket for driving too fast to the hospital. He was taking his buddy who was accidentally hit by a co-worker's powerful nail gun.

    Now if this cop only had discretion enough to waive the ticket.

    I know of a few people I call mushrooms, who basically don't shower, shave or anything like that for many days on end.
    Sounds like me, but my excuse is having two young children and a full-time job.

    I was frustrated by MMJB for quite a while, but I couldn't find another product that tagged my files as well. I finally gave up when the application would just crash on me at start-up. I have finally found my nirvana: MediaMonkey. I only use the free version and it does everything I want, including helping with renaming, creating folders based on ID3 info, searching for duplicates, adding album artwork, conversion from flac and other formats to MP3. I highly recommend it.

    What are you talking about? I haven't considered it a planet since I took astronomy in the early 90's. Of course the public didn't have a clue, but a lot of astronomers knew Pluto shouldn't be considered a (regular) planet.
