    It's almost just like Cell but has onchip memory to solve the bandwidth problem.

    Dally worked for Cray and mentioned that todays supercomputers are not efficient.

    The whole article starting from the Byline is about Microsoft punishing anyone that installs anything other than windows.

    But equally, it's a disincentive for corporate purchasers who want to ghost an image of Linux onto a pre-specced PC.

    Clearly scrutiny has had some effect. Hewlett Packard's decision to bundle Apple's iTunes player dismayed Microsoft, but the prospect of retaliation didn't deter HP from cutting the deal. However, Microsoft has had notable success in dissuading OEMs from preloading Linux. Dell and IBM used to sell certified Linux notebooks

    Preinstalling their os with every new computer is huge advantage for them. If the government told them to sell their OS on the market for over $100(xp cost) then people would wise up and buy something else.

    Another reason though is that Linux still can be a hassle like downloading firefox and having to use administrator login to install.

    The other problem is understanding the question when entered in a search.

    These search engines are just looking for words . Therefore spammed words.

    But had flaws. I knew it would take some time but eventually the COMMERCIAL SPAMMERS got their way with it.

    I have tried certain searches in the business fields and have had no luck.

    I tried doing a search on science of skin but all i get are skin care companies.

    Google is a DUMB technology. Lets look for links instead of trying to understand the request like real human interactions.

    I may start my own search engine company. Any programmers out there work for food. I make excellent handmade pizza.

    Why use buried cable ?

    The municipals can string fiber through already existing pipes or near overhead phone lines.

    I am not against Verizon . I just think that they shouldn't be shutting out REAL competition from municipals who want to install Fiber the home .

    Who needs them ! What we need is high speed fiber to the home thats AFFORDABLE ,$20-30 a month that uses all it's bandwidth to INTERNET 2 or something similar. Having 3 regular Digital channels and one HDTV channel is stupid. I don't want to see QVC in HD. Who will decide on what we see ? Same problems as always without Alacarte. Same stupid Kiddy shows, Sports shows, News shows, reruns. Fuck em all. I am sick of Corporate rule.
