If they'd found a way to provide the same feel as the AEK but with little noise, I might've thought it worth it to buy it. As it is, I value quiet more than feel, since I don't have any issues with my APK. Still, if I find one in existence to demo, maybe I'd give it a try. Those old keyboards were pretty sweet.
Speak for yourself. I use a single-button mouse because I don't play Minesweeper on my Mac. If I want to play Minesweeper, I find a PC.
On the other hand, that "one-button" mouse you're looking at there is really a 5-button mouse. I'm sure you or any other decent Mac user can give at least one example of a shift-click, control-click, option-click, command-click. Drags would also be acceptable.
Why have a mouse with two buttons when you have 4-16 ways to modify one? And as has already been mentioned somewhere, you can always take your favorite multi-button mouse, plug it in, and watch it work.
I'm willing to bet that the army, et al. can't accept gifts of ANY kind from ANYONE. Accepting free anything makes it seem like the army is taking bribes. That's a domain reserved for politicians.
Seriously, though, I work at a fast food restaurant. We're not supposed to give free or discounted anything to any government official (police, health inspectors, etc.) even in good faith, or in kindness, because it makes it seem like we're bribing them. The one exception is donating sandwiches to the fire department's fundraiser/awareness day thingy.
'rampant piracy, poor economic conditions and competition from video games and DVDs.'
Not necessarily in that order.

C, then Apple-D? When did that change? It's not just C anymore? Cripes, my comps are only a few years old...
It's simple: We don't use single button mice.

Some recent pricing of upgrades illustrates the kind of attitude Apple has to its customers.
Yeah, I like companies like Adobe, which gives free upgrades for Photoshop, or Microsoft, which gives free upgrades on Windows.
"Janus head is a popular phrase for deception, that is, when action does not match speech."
..or perhaps a very appropriate one?
So says Wikipedia
someone didn't bother to mention the fact it's an April Fool's joke in the story blurb?
No, can you go on The Gamesome Mac and talk about your game?
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to listen to the (tq)radio.
Well, I'm sitting on the Mac side, and it looks pretty sweet over here. Have you tried one?
If you aren't talking about OS X, skip this comment. I'm not familiar with Linux enough. But what hassles do you deal with on the Mac?
I have four words for you:
I love this company, yeah!
I am reasonably certain that the only reason (today) that everyone uses Windows is because everyone uses Windows.
Just my two cents...
Should be:
:)
"Select All
Move to Trash
Empty Trash
Okay"
with an optional "Switch to Finder" at the start.
I would've changed it so you need to keep the key pressed, but whatever.
I'm pretty sure most of the /. crowd, and Apple fans, are wondering with you.
Believe it or not, I think it's the colors. If Apple starts making a purple one, I think I have to buy one for my fiancee.
back in school, me and a friend of mine used to... she...
;)
If you'd just liked Macs then, maybe you could've been more than friends!
Er, dieing.
It farts liberally in the face of step 3
Somebody please mod that funny.
Oooohhh.... that's a good one. I like it.
Wow. I think that's an... anti-troll.
Have to wonder if the article actually used that word. :)
Uh, I got this:

I don't like Real, I don't like WMA/Microsoft, and I don't like baseball! AAAUUUGGGHHHH!!!
Will they follow with XP Revolutions? Will either be as well-received as the original?
Microsoft C*O of your choice: "Hey, those Matrix movies were cool! Everybody liked all of those! Let's use that for a naming scheme!"
My understanding is that the penny costs 0.7 cents to make. That might be as of a few years ago, though.
