legal defense team? i'm sorry if i've missed out on anything but he'll probably have some appointed attorney:) doubt this guy has solid backing financial or legal. he's scamming multiple people.. and from the looks of it isn't too good at his method.
I've read everything he's written you and i'd suppose this guy is the textbook case needed for a new section in the DSM: pathological liars. the yarns this guy spins are amazing.
keep on fightin'. i just can't understand how you haven't gotten more help from the cops or federal. have you tried contacting your local state rep or congressman? there has to be a way.
you're right. the gnome devels need to stop aiming for the lowest common denominator. I've been on GARNOME and CVS builds for a loonnng time and am growing tired with how they are detracting features/abilities from their work. it's sad. metacity is screwed because of mr pennington's simplicity over features mantra. He takes this minimalism paradigm to a new level. so then you go and get a decent WM to replace it, and you find a ton of them have the standard "gotcha" type bugs with GNOME. wether it be standards compliance or what, it sucks, and i can believe that I'm not the only power user dealing with this BS. this is why GNOME suffers.
dont make me switch to KDE.:D IIRC it once meant "Kool Desktop Environment". riiiiiight.
nothing can beat the open source movement? we may beat them in cost but profit-driven goals and common vision are something we don't have.
gnome and kde's division of the desktop is the first major stake in the heart of the open source movement. egos and attitudes have really held us back.
I only hope it doesn't get fragmented beyond usability in the end..
get a clue? fine, asshole. you can be happy with inhibiting operating systems while I'm not even running one that requires AV monitoring OR spyware monitoring.
they made a stupid design decision, and you only illustrate how limited your knowledge is of the subject at hand. enjoy your windows, idiot:)
See, that's the problem. We should never try to dumb-down the computing experience this way, because look what it does. It inhibits the people who know what they're doing and don't want to wait while patches install.
They should make it painfully obvious that it's important with a reminder on shutdown, maybe even a secondary "are you sure" button. But locking people into this is only going to annoy. Bad design, and i'm not surprised considering it's source.

If you abuse DXM your liver will pay the consequences. Don't taunt death.. If you insist on being a tryptonaut then pick something that doesn't throw your body for such a loop.
be smart- choose your drugs wisely. or else you will pay the consequences later in life.
you're so right. i've been gaming for 10 years now, and i've seen that company produce nothing but cross-marketing circlejerks with Hollywood, major sports and television.
I've seen a FEW clips of criminals trying to yank portable ATMs out of convenience stores w/their trucks only to leave the scene emptyhanded, minus a bumper and a license plate
Wipeout and its sequels kicked ass! And apparently, the nameless evil pigowl company had smart enough employees to get a good soundtrack for each one. Totally added the right touch to the game at top speeds.
anyone have a track listing for Wipeout (the first one?) I could never find it.. some tracks I had never heard before

I just bought one 2 days ago and set it up, I think it did have security on by default- but the admin passwd is just admin by default. Gotta be simple on some level for end-users I suppose.
batbox, EWRT or OpenWRT will let you really have fun with this hardware.

i've said it once, and i'll say it again-
retail is for suckers.
retail markup on electronics is insane in the US.. don't let them perpetuate this abuse of the free market.
water filtration does great at removing carcinogens. atomising instead of smoking with a lighter flame also furthers that.. don't have #'s though.

d'oh!
Last time I installed Linux on this PC was about 3 years ago.
Maybe not - XP SP2 already did it with turning a bit on in the reg.
Mainframe? hardly

How comfortable would you be swallowing a drug made from Gila monster spit?
My girlfriend came home with fish oil pills the other day. Label on the bottle says (rather proudly): "No Fishy Aftertaste!". Thank god for that!
i'm so glad I don't have to take them.
