i dunno, i can buy these "case mods" from my local computer store, preassembled on to cases, just add a pc and water.. somehow.. it looks almost like what this guy did:S...
Nothing beats the 5 1/4" floppy method.. it actually physically holds the disk in place.. people can see they need to put it out of the way to take out the disk... (yes, i still have one in my PC..)
I can have lots of fun at my house:).. we'll leave it at where i live,, digital service is weak to non existant,, and i live right beside a major highway:D,
If you really look at it... there aren't that many errors as compared to like.. 90% of the pages out there... especially compared to some major websites... http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fmic rosoft.com%2F&charset=iso-8859-1+%28Western+Europe %29&doctype=HTML+4.01+Transitional or http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fw ww.google.com%2F&charset=iso-8859-1+%28Western+Eur ope%29&doctype=HTML+4.01+Transitional and even the mistakes he has made are all minor things,, like using &, and adding some additional spaces in, and not putting in alternate text for images... all easy fixes.
At my highschool, we're allowed to have them in class so long as we don't use during class them and either have them turned off, or the ringer (and vibrating ring) off. it's not upheld very strictly though. the most you even get is a warning from the teacher.
NICE! I wish i had the money and/or time to make something like that.. this is the one of the few "cut apart a case and put it back together" case mods that i've seen that doesn't like like that in the end..
Reece,
PS. if anyone knows where i can get one of those neato internal memory card readers that he has tell me...
Dude,, i live about 3/4 of a k/m away, except my cable co. has said "there is no way we will ever run cable lines to your house unless there are other customers on the street" and we're the only house on the 3/4 km stretch:S...
I agree, I have a Canon S520,, lots of ink the carts, separate carts, and best of all, no evil circuit boards attached to them:),, i only need new ink every 6 months or so, and when i do, i just pop the cart out, and use the syringe system to fill it up, once and a while i will buy a new X brand cart if they get a little dusty or nething...
My Canon S520's cartriges last me about 6 months each, separate carts for each colour, so no wasted ink, and no circuit boards etc. on them,, just plactic tanks of ink.. what they should be... When you buy a printer, you just have to be sure you know what your buying,, buy a good one, do a little research, and people wouldn't buy crap like these Dell printers in the 1st place..
My Keyboard is older than I am, and still looks great:), nothing beats the IBM Model M,, has drains! you can pour water though it and it's fine! net to mention the key cover come off so you can clean them..
I personnaly won't buy their stuff for the pure fact that it's rarely any better that the cheapo chinese brand, just twice the price... sony used to be a quality product,,, now it's no more than a brand...
how much did these " NEC MultiSync 1880SX's" cost?? chances are good that for thier price,, you could've gotten a larger maybe,, but certainly superior CRT... once you get a CRT with a coated tube and high resolution/refresh,, there's no going back to any other type of monitor...
Each type of screen has it's own use.. LCDs are great for power, space, and sharp text. Most other things tend to fall under CRTs tho, I was looking at some LCDs recently, and the cheapest one i could find that was satisfactory to even look at photos on (in my opinion,) was over $1000 canadian!! for that, you can buy a CRT that has rivals an LCD in sharpness, and beats it at almost everything else.. It basically comes down to, what you're using it for, and how much you have to spend, because everything sucks at something...
If you compare an average $500 LCD to an Average $200 CRT, that may be true... but if you compare a $500 LCD to a $500 CRT,,, the CRT's picture will be superior by far in most cases, LCDs are small, and can give sharp text.. but thats about it,, colour balance, etc. is often far from satisfactory for even viewing photos with a good eye...
I think a reasonable way to include it would be as a recommended update, and start shipping it on the XP CDs as an install option, that will install by default under typical install, but can be removed under custom if the user so wishes.
Kinda like M$'s XP... they'll let you install it.. but unless you connect it to the net, or call their stupid 800 number, You can only boot it for 30 days!! yay:)
Yes,, but i guess they figured they neeeded a crappy acronym to go with their crappy product:D.
Reece,
PS. I'd love to see someone try to install one of these in my house, there's mika insulation in all the walls,, if you put a hole in the wall, a tonne of it would run out.. if you were really unlucky, it might stick till you had thepipe hooked upto ur pc and fill up ur case:),, that can't be good for the fans.
it probably has a 2nd battery for the memory like most cheap organizers do,, or some form of low battery working so you can change it like a week before the battery dies or something... or at least I would hope so.

The airline would of couse limit each user's speed to just under the point where that would be practicle :),

You just have to make sure there is enough airflow that the dust can't settle :D,, keep the fans running 24/7, and there shouldn't be a problem..
