if it becomes common though, you could be hitting them everywhere without knowing it.. they should give a warning that you will be forced to download a large advertisment file if you enter....
I think that would depend where you live... the power lines running to my house are as far as i can tell well over 40 years old. Only 2 phase and the wires are just tied to ceramic insulators at each post... However. another point I was thinking of.. what about the wires in your house? I think in most cases those wouldn't be twisted.. and what about inference put into your lines by other electronics:S, the whole thing sounds kind of mickey mouse to me
i'd say that would mean some monitors were poorly designed.. When monitors didn't have failsafes against this (long time ago now..) the video cards at the time rarely had high enough refresh rates / resolutions to da much harm to a monitor...
I couldn't agree more.. A car is like heavy duty oven cleaner... it's a useful tool, however, when used in the wrong way can be fatal to the user or the people around them, as most tools can be. what's next? blackboxs in powerdrills & lawnmowers?
A local bank around here runs windows 98 with custom software for the tellers,, i was making a $6000 deposit and while he was typing it in bsod'd on him.. needless to say I made sure I got a signed receipt that the money actually ended up in my account... shorty after I changed banks. Modern GUIs never seem nearly as stable as as legacy text based systems...
i've got tonnes of files that i'd like easy to access, speed is minimal,, it would still be far less that looking thorough my over 500 cd's for a doc file or game,, etc..
Note also, that http://index.museum/ takes you to a listing of registered domains which can genuinly help a person fix thier typo. rather than a biased useless search engine... they have also cleverly reserved http://musedoma.museum/ and http://about.museum/
The software makers claim it's not a sale,, but what about when the store gives you a sales invoice? would that not make it seem as if the store has 'sold' you the item(s) listed on it?
Simple. Call a licenced electrician, company can't afford it? can the fire dep't, and have alert them of the fire hazard this is obviously causing.. where i live, the company/building owner will be forced to have the wiring fixed very soon or face charges / their insurance company cancelling their plan etc... things like that are often overlooked, but if the wiring is as bad as your saying it is though the rest of the building as well,, a fire could break out any second:S.
I work at a travel center in Canada just before toronto, because traffic was crazy in Toronto, and many needed gas,, they all just stayed there. However, we couldn't let anyone in the building so there were no washrooms, etc.. needless to say they were quite angry,, after three hours they were really near forcing their way into the building.. finally they got the generator working so thoy could let them in though.
no,, but i'd say something "commander keen 7" might actually stand a decent chance if they did it right.. call me crazy.. but i still use my NES and play DOS based games on a regular basis...
I'm assuming that's if you have cookies enabled though... I have cookies disabled whenever i'm doing just general browsing..
Reece,
However.. I expect they aren't going to tell you what's happening until it loads either... now are they?

I have a DSL modem which just runs off of USB power, so it needs no other power source than your laptop..
