    I use my floppy drives daily, they're so much more hassle free than cdr's, compatable with every OS, no special drivers needed, virtually every computer has one, whereas my older laptop tha i still use doesn't,, anyone can alter files on them, no special packet writing software or drive needed, etc.

    I enjoyed reading "elementery crypanalysis" i'd say you need at least a colleage math degree to understand some of the later chapters tho,,, gave some really insightful ideas on decrypting, and how to stop things from being decryted (except by those you want to) Reece :)

  13. What would really work, on To Digitize or Not Digitize the Family Photo Album? · · Score: 1

    If any companies are reading this, i think what we really need, is scanner that can take a stack of regular sized photos, and autoload and autoscan them, and put them into an album, awaiting labels from us, this would make digitizing photos take much less of our time, just minimize the program and let it work while we do other things.

    Interweb, i'm guessing that it's probably what M$ will call the internet after it takes it over, because only M$ can decide what goes on the interweb, other bad people, such as linux users might try telling them the truth, almost like the matrix!! the whole world it controlled by an evil group of robots with the one goal of conuming our body and minds, and there is a small group of people, who have broken free, these people use linux because it was designed by real humans, not evil coraporate bots, and doesn't watch their every move. lol :), Reece

    57:CityTV (one of the few good stations i get!)

    I can't get cable where i live because i'm on a dead end street and the cable company won't run a line for one house, and because of neighbours tree's, i can't get satilite either :(, i can only get broadcast TV (I can't get DSL either!! only dialup!!)

    I live a couple hours from Toronto, and Payphones are still really common here, there's at least one in every other resauraunt, my high school has 2 in the lobby, and only 500 people or so goto my school, then again our school has arcade machines in the lunch room too :), god i love the C'dn school system :).

    with iMesh, you can download part of a song, and preview it, so you don't have to waste ur time downloading the entire thing (especially annoying on dialup), Reece :)

    Most companies don't spend the time or money of good BIOS because the average user never sees it, And the BIOS is still quite important, it loads your operating system, without it, you might as well just toss your computer! I find that BIOS code is getting progressivley worse, AMI bios is okay, but the AMI bios in my pentium 90 is better, as for the award BIOS in my current computer, i'm thinking that writing my own bios could be a good project :) Reece,
