... have movies available through itunes. You can get "T2", "Once upon a Time in the West", "Breakfast at Tiffany"; but also "Tomb Raider" . Also some independent movie makers, Shorts international... they should introduce selection by studio, though.

my god, what the hell ist wrong with this statement? jeeeeesus, those believers...
Insha'Allah, my friend. and Mazal Tov, for good measure.
- This whole "one box contains one movie" thing is so 1980s. -
actually, more like "so 2002ish"; 1980s would be CD (which was introduced in 1982). butr you are essentially right, though i am not so sure about collectors; in vinyl, you have a physical equivalent to the music (though you need very sensitive fingertips to read LPs;-)
And then East Berlin is than integrated into the West, and being made capital, again? Jobs instead of Kohl? and Ballmer instead of Honecker? Maybe a bright future, indeed! Also, Allchin (with his love for Macs) as Gorbachev replacement - not quite the format, though.
" Jobs probably said this knowing full well that the Music Industry will not stop demanding DRM. An Apple lawyer has already said that Apple wouldn't ditch DRM for iTunes even if the labels stopped demanding it. As long as one Music Company demands it, Jobs can have it both ways: iTunes and iPods will lock customers in and Jobs will blame **Apple's** lock in on the music industry at large."
that is true. still, his 22/1000 argument highlights one reason for apple being not so concerned about DRM:
- iPod hardware
- being the leader / negotiation power...
- halo effect
- itunes profit, as last issue
and, importantly, DRM is just a pain to implement + justify.
you have to be really stupid to push for DRM (but you may succed nevertheless with it...). so, as previously suggested, i am for an (atheist) halo for jobs, and for changing the gates borg into Darth Vader (actually, the Mel Brooks version).
they settled the lawsuit, which means mutual benefit. no court decision. and no complaining about apple inc. lawyers - and they lost last tiome anyway.
well, since the first iMac came out... last time i used a (USB) floppy was around 1999, for installing Windows NT on one of the first iBooks (the orange one), under Virtual PC. as the poor local IT supervisor in our NT/SAP based department at a university hospital. still have the disk!
... since this basically takes soe wind out of the vista opponent's sails. less worries, after you have kernel-patched-illegally-moded... so "hackers" will complain less, vista will spread like oil after a big tanker disaster, and the tech guys will be more willing to support it at their companies and relative's home pcs. essentially, the $@#^&! level will be lowered.
maybe time to buy ms stock? o.k., i would rather invest in the fur industry (i heard, bloody baby seals are in vogue)...
no, one shouldn't. however, it should be reported like that:
"apparently, the exploit will not work on any mac book in the original configuration"
macbooks don't have an expansion slot, but all come with 802.11a/b/g built in; so external wifi solutions are for extremely special purpose, usually from hackers (running a separate wifi scanner...) or other things i cannot even imagine.
From hearsay, there was a third party wireless device used which was hacked into; at least this has been reported in the Ars comments and elsewhere. Who would use this in everyday life (yes, I know exceptions etc.; but it is the "Apple security flaw" discussion right here).
i have a bose wave radio. basically, good sound - for the kitchen. and it is small, but not really portable (no batteries, no handles...).
the speakers in the ipod hi-fi look way more substatial, and with a woofer. probably the thing sounds rather good, and looks like a nice basic music system.
however, only one audio in - either CD (yes, I still have some) or vinyl, or video... and it is difficult to hide, in contrast to a standard iPod dock with hidden ammp and speakers. but for some, this may be enough (rip all your music, use the in for your projector).
sometimes i feel tired - but dead?
...
not that i care too much about what i did back then. the pictures are anoter story; but at least i had some more hair
Which of our iPods will be killed by our future iPhones? What do you know? The horror! Speak, or we will find ways ...

do i really have to comment on this? really?

of course, that does not answer your question.
actually, his first name, too. but that argument makes google a 50% russian company.

in tombstones? i start to understand the vision behind the zune ...
we certainly think so. but then, we lack the outstanding politicians the current u.s. of a. is graced with ;-)
The client iTunes sees is your computer (which has to be authorized). Simply put, the Slingbox is just like a TV-out + v e r y thin wires.
not that it would matter, but: YES

Reading the headline, I was sure this is fake news. Come on, Condoleeza and human?
so, i guess, you have seen those mac conference keynotes before, have you?
