WTF are you talking? Qt use the native style APIs of the different platforms to query metrics and draw most controls. On some platforms (such as MeeGo and KDE) Qt is the native API.
On the other hand, given the egregious awards for downloading just a few movies or songs - imagine the financial penalty for a collection of a thousand books.
Everyone is just lucky the book industry is not going after pirates the same way the music industry has.
Yeah, that worked out so well for the music industry
Although I prefer the $249 one because it has no moving parts. No Hard-disk (SSD only) and no fans (passive cooling). Its the only laptop which I can use on my laps without burning my family jewels
While it may be a net loss for Nokia (they have no one but themselves to blame), it will be good for consumers. Consumers need a third ecosystem, especially since WebOS is dead and BB10 looks uncertain. From what I have read, it seems like Microsoft might try out Chinese market first before launching in USA
Why would you unplug the cable? You get all the network stations in HD and you don't even need a set-top box since most TV have QAM tuners built-in. At-least watch Olympics
Here is the best part of the comment "I'd advise selling whatever AAPL stock you have, because it'll be their XBox: a product they'll be subsidizing for years trying to get into a market they have little experience of."
The last OS based on HTML (WebKit to be more specific) was WebOS, and was deemed slow because of that http://nyti.ms/KOMpBx. Wouldnt a HTML5 based OS face the same hurdles?

My HTPC is also using the same CPU as yours, and I am also thinking of upgrading to Ivy Bridge and getting rid of the discrete AMD Radeon card. If only Obama could bail me out!
You must be a voracious reader!
