    When astronomers talk about the age of the universe, it refers to time duration between now and the big bang. Anything that happened before the big-bang is irrelevant since 'time' and the very laws of physics came into existence after the bang

    3 'remastered' episodes of a 20 year old tv show... Big fucking deal.

    Look i liked star trek. It was entertaining. But the special effects and visuals were never the draw there..

    And hollywood wonders why they have trouble selling shit anymore... They haven't done anything new or orginal for two decades.

    In all fairness, they are remastering all the episodes. Those 3 episodes are just for providing a preview of what to expect

    Totally agree. The new nook touch has nailed it. Perfect size and form factor and it weighs less than 7 ounces. I have read more books in last 3 month than I read in the last 3 years, thank to my local public library and nook's support to lending ebooks

    The kindle library books wont be DRMed epub. Instead they will be DRMed version of whatever kindle supports (AZW I guess)

    Or you can get rid of the DRM using this nifty python script. http://bit.ly/9zGL5W Once the DRM is gone, then its a vanilla epub file which works anywhere including ipad/iphone/itouch

    Silverlight does GPU acceleration as long as you have the right video card. My Radeon 5000 series card accelerates netflix HD content just fine (CPU usage sits at 5% while I watch HD streams)
