WSJ gives free access to premium content if you are being redirected from google, facebook, digg etc. Here is a dirty little secret. The entire content on WSJ is available to you for free, if you can trick WSJ into believing that you have been directed to their webpage via digg.com!

Local public libraries rocks! Usually local public libraries share their resources with all other public libraries in the county. Almost all of them have a website and online search facility. You get free access to unlimited books. Why not support you local public library instead of buying DRM laden crap from Sony or Amazon?
There is a firefox add-on developed by some guy at Stanford University. It is called pwdhash. I have been using it for over a year now, and find it incredibly useful
It was rumored earlier that they would add tvpack-2008 with SP2, but that's not happening. So no support for un-encrypted QAM, no support for mixing and matching ATSC and QAM channels. Sucks..
Please provide some reference.
"fly around them"
Why not fly with them? If you cant beat them, then join them :)

My beef with kindle is use of DRM and its high price. For $350, I would want unlimited access to books.
"Another Linux roadblock gone eh."
How about Blu-Ray?
He will do just fine :)
"I had problems with that on my old model as it had lots of bugs and viruses"

Which copy of the SECRETS OF THE UNIVERSE! would you like: paper or electronic?
Is the electronic copy open-source? I refuse to touch it unless it was released under GPL3 license and works with my new shiny gentoo box
C-SPAN uses real-player feeds which suck big time.
