  1. You're romanticizing the past here on Will Classic Games Disappear Forever? · · Score: 1

You're romanticizing the past here, I remember Tron but I'd rather waste money playing online strategy or mmorpg games than waste money playing decade old arcades. Both the games and the gamers have changed a lot/moved on from the time Tron was played.

I've played Snow Bros much less than I've played Warcraft 3. I'm sure most people have/would have done the same too.

Ok, it was my mistake to say riaa, but it doesnt change much. The public still loses what remaining trust there was in the recording industry/artist.

On the other hand, was that the artist;s descision? I hardly doubt so.

WHAT? CATS AND DOGS? not the cute puppies and the sweet fluffie kitties! Rats are really ugly and icky, you just go ahead son, but not those cute animals that can do silly little human things with their hands oh my. You sir are a monster! An inhuman freak with no respect to cute animals that look nice on peoples houses, uh, i mean nature, and all of god's animals. yeeeeah thats exactly what i mean. Yes, this is off topic. But i might as well vent a little.

  8. That's really hurting the music industry. on Lyric Sites In Trouble With The MPA · · Score: 5, Interesting

RIAA is seriously making some good efforts in keeping everyone hating it's guts. Can anyone even speculate how lyrics sites hurt the industry? Dont bother saying "provides pirates with track titles", most official artist sites have lyricks and track listings. RIAA is slowly but surely shooting its own foot.

I have been a subscriber (basic) for about three months and found it extremely helpful. One of my pleasant surprises and very commendable on the Safari guys is that they didn't fall into the drm/encrypted crap I'm sure most publishing houses would fall into in a similar undertaking. You can save a page as html, print it up, do what you want to without having to go through draconian security measures. I still would like to see more New Riders Publishing books; some of the best usability and macromedia books come from them.
