    Make sure the manager is aware of what you're doing. Then waste their entire inventory until they give you a refund.

    I know this is kinda off topic, but it is kinda about optimizing MySQL, but I deleted 60% of the rows in a 60MB MySQL table on my webhost and the size hasn't changed. Is there some command to "pack" the space?

    Or they can keep track of your IP address and maintain a list of files you download. All they gotta do is go to a site serving torrents and download everything.

    I really *hope* they use Bluetooth instead of coming up with anothe random standard. There are already several Bluetooth headphones available, HP has some excellent ones.

    This sounds a lot like when Microsoft allowed certain paid spammers to avoid Hotmail's spam filters.

    Solution: stick to vendors that can be trusted. Use Spybot and Ad-Aware.

    You can do this with just about any PBX. And they'll never remove this feature because call centers make heavy use of it.

    I was just looking for it and the only trace left appears to be this page which links to regular maps, not aerial photos.

    Looks like they quietly got rid of it, which is a shame because it was really accurate.

    I ran an FTP server on the standard port (21) for years on OptimumOnline, as well as a web server on a non-standard port (actually, I used SSL, so https://myhome.dyndns.org -> port 443) and it worked perfectly. SSH worked perfectly too, so did Windows Terminal Server. Sure they "prohibit" servers and block some ports, but they don't enforce the rule for low-bandwidth home users.

    I moved a few months ago.

    Though this isn't really practical for most people, Nokia will upgrade your firmware if you send them your phone.

    So if there's a bug that's interfering with your use of the phone, it is possible to fix it.

    But I wish that they let you download the firmware upgrade and install it yourself, the way Sony Ericsson has done for some of their smartphones.

    Unfortunately the lowest bidder gets the contracts.

    I think that's the ultimate flaw in this process - why spend money on quality when price is the only thing that matters?
