The EU is not running their business when
they are dictating to us how to write
code, and what is now not acceptable
in the world. If so, let them write
their own os, and get off our back.
If people won't do it, then it has to be done
for them. Hence we have government. As far
as which sites allowed? No sites allowed for
pornography, of any kind.
And all this time, I thought the sat company just didn't
want us to have a la carte. We really don't need to pay for
135 channels, when we just want 30.
This thing can be easily solved, simply by allowing schools
to state that many people in our society believe that God
created everything, when starting classes on evolution, and
leave it alone.
The school is then not endorsing religion, just making
a true statement reguarding the current situation.
No argument, no ACLU, just get on with it.
May I ask why, every time they shrink the size of
components, they feel a need to put more on the chip? I realize more can be done, but with all the heat/power problems with increased density, why not use the space with chip power you already have?
The result would be a cooler, lower power device.
I have dial up, but if I don't turn on WinXP's firewall before I log on, I get hit too. I say use xp's firewall and forget Norton until you're safely online.
It makes sense at this point in time for the OS to become entirely "browser" oriented. I happen to like MS and IE, and see this as a natural progression.

A fault in program security is an error in programming logic. To charge for it is like adding a tax for the company's failure to produce a safe product.

The EU should stay out of our business.
I say bring it on. What a wonderful product to experiment with.
Well, it seems that the nations have a way of doing what they want, laws or not. I guess they just don't care enough to make it stick.
No. Thats not the point. I'm not judging sin. Pornography is like a drug, that draws you in, and it can cause divorce and the hurt of innocents.

How about no pornography, period. Pull the plug on any location dealing in or with it. Just say no more. The net would be a lot better place...

So, I didn't know they had 60,000 year old genes to compare with modern. Obviously, they find what they expect to find...
Our military has weaponized spacecraft all over the sky. Why do they need approval?
So, if the video is compressed, does that mean they will charge less per month?
Looks like their account has been suspended. Guess they'll have to stay home and play H2... -JerryLs
Ok. Thanks. I often jump in before I know what's going on...

How did they handle the part about it being illegal to launch an amateur rocket into space?
If it's illegal to "intercept", then you can't even log on, let alone participate or save.
With local stations investing millions in HDTV, I don't think they'll be giving up their spectrum any time soon.

So what?
Ok, this is the same NASA that only uses 486's in shuttles?
I would prefer an extra penny sales tax. You pay taxes, forget the $40 a month.
