I couldn't care less whether you are modded up as insightful or modded down as troll (and I know which I'd do)./. quite frequently reports on vulnerabilities in free & open source software - and of course these articles receive a bunch of trollish replies along the lines of "who cares" and "why's this news".
sco.org (When we're finished, we'll be all you can see)
Sco.org?: Since 1897 St. Christopher-Ottilie has been providing a helping hand for the most vulnerable among us. From our early beginnings as Long Island's Country Home for Convalescent Babies, to the complex continuum of care that is St. Christopher-Ottilie today, we have been there to help children and families for more than 100 years.
Taking down St. Christopher-Ottilie? You really are an evil bastard!
I wouldn't be so sure about Joss Whedon's attitude to copyright/file sharing issues and MPAA scum.
For example:
"If there's one thing the Buffy Powers That Be should have learned by now, it's that you can't stifle demand by choking the supply. When The WB pulled 'Graduation Day, Part 2' off the air in June, 1999, because of Columbine, fans got bootleg tapes from Canada (with creator Joss Whedon's blessing, no less)" (From here)
I.e. Joss Whedon actually sanctioned copyright violation by fans in at least one case (admittedly there were exceptional circumstances).
It's even more painful when you try it like our office did for several years -- nearly two-dozen people sharing a single 56k dial-up using Win 98's ICS. It was painful. Really, really painful.
(Previously we'd had two 56k connections between us all, except the connection sharing program we were using/Windows couldn't cope with more than one gateway on the network most of the time. I'm still in therapy.)
Can't wait for this to be implemented for PCs. Maybe one day I can merely give the finger to my Windows computer at work instead of giving it the three-fingered salute. Certainly help prevent RSI.
Umm... I'm sorry but has the US been under seige for over four decades? Has any country off the coast of the US ever invaded it? DNS-and-BIND's post should be modded as the troll that it is.
All the Pentagon's geeks are going to be checking their web stats and wondering: "WTF? Why are so many people checking out the fscking picture of the gormless bloke with the dog???"
Here's a review of Sacco's Palestine if anyone's interested.
Why, Sen. Hatch, I can download illegal MP3s through my web browser! GASP! Better shut down the WWW.
Oh, no! Now there's this FTP program people are using! Better shut that down, too.
Zounds! Someone just e-mailed me a song! Bye-bye, e-mail...
Eh gad, finally it's time to invest in Gopher. Many years have I waited for this! And to think they called me mad.
'He's supercompetitive,' said one. 'If he knows you'll faint at the sight of blood, he'll cut himself just to watch you pass out.'
Will he do it just to see me piss myself laughing though?
build yourself a paparazzi costume with those disposable cameras (there's still the potential to get zapped though)
They've already started?
"Die Winny!"
(for the ignorant)
"This guy has more b*lls than I."
Judging from his tendencey to get sued, he certainly would seem to have more bills than you.

I for one welcome our cultured metallic overlords.
I feel for you man - having a post that says "I am retarded" moderated at +5 insightful must hurt...
Pax Christi USA to bring International Election Monitos

Sorry. I've had very little sleep.

Perfect for keeping a look out for worms while spice harvesting. Long have I waited for this day.

All soviet jokes in reply to this comment will be punished by firing squad. So trolls can just get F#ed.
I'm sure there's a erfectly normal exlanation for this.
And for his next trick, maybe he could do a mini "hell freezing over".
Hey, then we'd all get laid! Quick, where's his phone number?
Of course, there's no need to mention Microsoft's inability to create a stable system.
You did realise you were posting this toThat's because, IN SOVIET RUSSIA it's no laughing matter.
