This is by no means a positive factor. Like baldness, this is a mutation off the norm; you might call it the 'tard' gene:

"All people carry the gene, but some have a version with a slightly different code, Jirtle said. This variation, he and his colleagues found, correlates with a lower IQ."

It does seem to be a sex linked one, that like baldness, manifests only in males. Actually, baldness is even worse, supposedly, largely (main contributing genes) seem to be inherited from the mother's x to the son and doesn't have much to do with whether the dad is bald or not.

Regarding whether these results would hold up outside of the caucasian ethnicity, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't.

Well, as one person already pointed out, a gas tax like in Europe would be a good start.

The majority has proven that since selfishness prevails, people must sadly be babied into changing their behavior. Sad, but quite evidently true. Changing the price changes consumption, it's a fundamental law; while I've seen some slashnerd inbred bible thumpin retards here post that increasing prices won't stop people's driving habits, this is clearly ridiculous. (Those were the same redneck sacks-of-shit-who-should-be-lined-up-and-shot people claiming that higher gas prices won't stop their purchasing habits for SUV's a few years ago. Quite ridiculous and childish denial isn't it, sure keep up the driving... prices need to rise even higher to temper demand (see economics 101, price stiffness.)).

Well, oil companies are gladly increasing the prices to meet demand. Taxes would do exactly the same as Exxon eagerly offers as well, but at least the money would go back to the public in some way.

    3. "real science" sometimes leads to a lot of screaming, esp. when it's data points to views I disagree with.

Regarding the issues of abortion, science and medical studies can also make some statements; I don't know what you are disputing or what your question was regarding scientific analysis and the abortion issue so I will leave it at that.

Based on evidence from the experts (inspectors) (and circumstancial evidence such as forged documents) it was quite evident there were no weapons of ass destruction. (It has even recently come to light that australian soldiers were told the iraqis had no deployable chemical or bioweapons before the war--quite a contrast to the doomsday masks you saw on Fox news while you sat on the couch watching during the iraq war while people in iraq were busy dying.)

Yes, but corporate welfare isn't the solution to Germany's welfare problem.

Western countries need to lower their minimum wage, and, unfortunately, worker's rights and benefits, in order to stop the jobs from moving to places where workers have zero rights and benefits.

For example, a company isn't going to hire liberally unless they also at liberty to lay off/fire at will without having to pay a massive hit. That's part of the reason you have such high unemployment.
