Sad for them, and sad for the FOSS community. As it is no doubt only a matter of time until they become poster children for Bill Gates assertion that FOSS is communism and does't work.
In the US, lower class people are doing just about that. It is the top half of the income distribution that is failing to do its duty by replacing itself in the next generation.
So income makes people smart? If you are low income, and thus "not smart" by what I'm inferring by your post, do you somehow become smart if you win the lottery?
Now I would concede that intelligent people tend to have better careers. But I'm sure there are plenty of brilliant professors making less than successful used car salespeople. Careful observation even shows that there are even leaders of major western countries who owe everything to family connections rather than intelligence or education.
If you repeat something often enough, consistently, without responding to your opponents using logic or even acknowledging they have a viewpoint, your repeated assertion will catch on. No matter how ridiculous it is.
It doesn't matter how much evidence there is or isn't, that's the magic of repeated assertion.
Now repeat after me: Iraq possesses weapons of mass destruction.
I agree with the grandparent - I think the US waves its dick *too* much. But you raise the point, perhaps Tibet didn't wave its enough. Then we have the Swiss: armed and (it is at least perceived) dangerous, yet content to not invade anyone or do too much dick-waving. So are they the happy medium?
Thanks to the Bush Administration's new extended hours for truckers, America's truck drivers will need an extra boost to keep them awake. Happy highway driving!
I've been wondering for years why they don't issue bar coded license plates. Then equip police cruisers with that little laser scanner like they have at the grocery store. If they drive past a stolen car or a car registered to someone with a warrent, BING BING BING BING.
I guess it's happening now, albeit with a different technology.
What are people using VisualStudio for, really? I understand it's popular among the corporate IT internal project set, but is it being used for any commercial apps? I haven't seen any (non-Microsoft utility) that runs using the.NET VM. What is out there that has been developed with it?
Thank you for that over-simplification! You're either with us, or you're with the Terrish! The world is black and white, w00t!
People who say ID cripples their children's ability to succeed in the real world obviously don't pay attention to politics.
Seriously, why wouldn't they distribute it using a bit torrent? Is it because they can't track download numbers as easily?
I mean with IE popups, adware, spam...

I was thinking, "what a great movie title!" but, as they say, it's all been done before.
...guys flying the big iron
You mean they can FLY now? Holy crap, time to buy stock in IBM!
Then you either kill them or severe their hands.
Have you ever tried to cut someone's hands off? It's really hard.
Ballmer smacks his meaty hands together for emphasis
I wonder if he would take that as a compliment.
If I could get "my" president to sign anything, it would be a letter of resignation.
Not sure if you've been paying attention, but our rights as citizens ain't what they used to be.
No matter how much money you have, you still get just one vote.
Please. Cheney. Bush. Halliburton. Brown. Money has everything to do with it.

You haven't been married very long, have you?
How many people immediately went to dellcomputerssuck.com to see what was there?
