Yeah, had the same problem with just phone line. Got charged but it was on their end. I have some issues with both Verizon and Comcast concerning things like that.
I live in his district and still don't have high speed access at home, but I guess he is trying. Yeah if he went against coal here he would loose that battle and the next election.
Those data recovery people are pretty savvy. They just recovered the 18 1/2 minute gap on the Nixon tapes. It is Nixon listening to Alice's Restaurant by Arlo Guthrie.
but.. you gotta worry about that bear in the woods too. A grizzly can be very distracting.
I live out in the country mostly. It's building up some but still, when our family visits from the city they hear all kinds of strange sounds to them at night in the summer. In the day time kids will throw rocks constantly because they sure don't get to do that in the city. I dunno the country can be distracting too plus unless you are rich, you have to have some survival training, like living without money at times. In the city you loose a job, there are more. In the country there are not that many.
There is probably even more of a drug problem out here too. No gangs but everyone on something.
BTW when I went to Boston I felt quite safe and not distracted at all. I dunno about these studies? I would like to become a grant writer so that I could get money for studying all kinds of foolishness. I think you can do that out in the country too.
Not me. How much more room can they possibly get. Their plan is environmentally better I guess because of the swapping but having an extra charged battery would be nice to.
I think it's more about the clean lines that Apple is trying to put in every thing they make than the excuse I have heard.
I don't think this will work in the long run. WalMart sells most of their music for them. They will give the labels problems if Apple doesn't. People that want to make new music promote it yourself. I'll look for it and buy that. I already own and have made copies of the old stuff the labels are trying to resell again and again. No more tricks. I'm not playing their games no more. I wont buy it, listen to it, or steal it. I'll just go for the independents. Their stuff sounds better now anyhow.
They are probably not any more expensive but tapes have advantages of their own. You wouldn't think sequential access would be an advantage but it is when storing the data.
Full always at night if time is not an issue. Off site one a week. If you have a fire take out your business you have to decide how much time you can loose. I have experienced this with few backups. We rebuilt everything from scratch and got rid of a lot of crap at the same time. We decided a week max. with only 30 employees.
If you gotta be on all the time (1000 employees) though then fiber to another building is the way to go.
Tape is still the way to go though and will probably be so till I'm dead. It just will not die.
--I'd love to be able to negotiate with the telephone company for royalties on that pole they put on my property.--
Well in the US, normally that would be an easement negotiated way before you were born to bring power to someones home. Then the telcos, cable company, have to be granted fair use of that pole too but they have to pay the power company for that right.
I don't think that there is anything to stop you from building your own network and putting it right under theirs unless the local government made some kind of exclusive deal, which I would think they could pass a law and change that if you want.
Even though I have MOD points I going to reply, What coal mines are you talking about. I live in an area where they still do what you are saying to miners. This kind of stuff is everywhere here. They expect you to live to work not work to live. Get it?
Maybe there is something that I don't know but I thought a judgment could not be bankrupted out. You would have to file before you got charged, I think which means it is worse than that and there forever.
There is no fairness or even close to that any more. It just boils down to numbers and not justice.
also, telling them stories about you were killing Nazi's and Communist's with computers before they were in diapers usually gets their attention.
After that tell them stories about how easy the have it now because in your day you had to walk to school uphill in the snow coming and going while using barbed wire wrapped around your feet just gain traction all to learn how to turn an old Xerox into a spy machine in the soviet embassy.
Tell them Nixon himself pinned a medal on you for that.
Isn't half of that Regan and Bush? Out of the two running this time, I don't think either candidate gets the problem, but maybe Obama seems to have the least bad plan. I think we should just write in "NONE OF THE ABOVE". Maybe we could get more choices then.
Anyhow, according to pretty much everyone's numbers, the problems we are faced with now might be beyond the point that anyone can fix.
I guess I should have said paid off the entire national debt. After reading a little further he came up about $33,000 + short of that too. And I'm not defending Republicans over Democrats. I was just asking a question.

In CD's? Hmm.. maybe they do. Anyhow that is interesting.

Put it next to the X over the border or at least anything that can't be automated anyhow.
Yeah a bank is a machine that makes money out of thin air and they don't even have to print it.
Yet with a plan like that they are still loosing money.
Give the bailout money to the ones that can't pay their mortgages and want to buy a car and let them decide what to do with it.
What we will get instead is more trickle down economics otherwise know as corporate welfare.

That used to be the law. Maybe it has changed.

What verse does it even say that? I think Heaven meant sky right there.

I believe the wheel designs of the Mars rovers are similar, when we got help from the Russians that designed Lunokhod back in the 90's.
We'll I guess some of the numbers may be off then..

They got some help from the Russians in the 90's from they guy that helped design the luna probes wheels. Nasa's look the same
No problem the next step will be just to make encryption illegal.
They make a damn good switch though.
Running electricity backwards through electrolytic capacitors to make a little unexpected pop is fun for kids too.

Maybe I gotta agree. Didn't he make some solo balloon flights though? Maybe that was bravery & luck than skill.
