what if you blew it early on for a download you wanted ? I'm lucky enough to be provided a large enough cap that I never reach it, but my wife only uses a 1 GB plan. She sometimes use it all, and then she`ll be one or two days without. Extra GB are 70$ (twice the plan price which includes unlimited text / unlimited international calls) so it`s not a good idea to unlock it for more..
This is an app choice in this case. Certain apps will allow you to chose how they behave, in case you don't want to force all apps to behave in a certain way. There are different os level choices but I would see google news allowing accessing the news you just clicked on without wifi even if you checked the option to pre-cache all news through wifi only..
Also, I guess that you could send a payload to trigger an app awake signal and ping back to the server, but that would use more of the device battery and processing time, and on android at least it would show that the app is using background process and the user would be presented with an option to turn that off. It`s better to only rely on the feedback mecanism not to cause those issues.
Silent push notifications can have any payload the app programmer needs to send. Any silent push notification campaign will result in the feedback service updating the list of invalid devices. They can't send a ping to your device, they need to go through apple APNS service to contact the device, which will cause the aforementioned feedback service to update the list. The same process happens with Android.
It doens't notify the seller of the app that you've uninstalled it. Rather, the next time the owner of the app tries to notify that user of something, apple/google answers that no one is listening anymore at that address. It's been like this for years, maybe some people understood that just now ?
IDGAF what the "original intent" of networks and The Internet in general was, it has since the beginning been used by criminals for criminal activities, and this is just one more example of that. So-called "The Internet" should be outlawed. By all means use network technology for legitimate, legal purposes, but The Internet clearly and objectively needs to go.
I'm a small player in this field, and I've not been lucky with my investments, there are much better fish to fry:) At least it's keeping the house warm even with the -30C we are getting!
Anyway, just getting to my remote location would cost most of your profits!
As a gamer I afforded quite a lot of great cards just because they were paying for themselves when I wasn't gaming. I now have enough good computers that my friends don't need to bring theirs when we have a lan.. =)
him: Hey I just bought a new computer but it won't start me: Have you plugged it in ? Is your power bar on ? him: Yes, I plugged everything, the monitor even turn on! me: Ok, is your power supply button on the back to the on position too ? him: Yes, I tried fiddling with it, I turn the key and nothing happen! Do I have to hold it there long ? me:...
Religious leaders sure hope that it won't change, else it would be illegal to promote any religion (how can any religion be right, if they are all distincts?). And then, if it's not legal on the internet, why should it be anywhere else ?
I have 3 sets of Sennheiser HD7 DJ, and 3 sets of HD 558. Those are highly comfortable headphones, and depending on what I`m using them for I'll use the open air, or closed one. Long enough wires, exchangeable between both types (yeah, 3 of each is still on the low side, and I can switch the one plugged on my computer without having to go change the cable behind the desk where my computer is stuffed), and they sound great to me. This gives me 6 1/8" and 3 1/4" cable.
I don't have to recharge my headphones, I'm not putting lipo batteries in my ears (what could go bad ??? I've had 2 lipo fires so far and I'm already keeping my phone out of my pockets as much as possible), I'm not having any latency issues when watching a movie on my phone/tablet, and none of the bad quality of bluetooth sound. I've tried liking it with bluetooth pairing in my car but between having sync issues, losing the connection, randomly pausing the music, and sounding like an AM radio channel, I've moved back to a 1/8" jack and could not be happier.
Personnally, I`m fine with coinhive. In no time we will have cpu caps at 5% of a core on browsers which we can waive for legit sites, so those miners costs us almost nothing, and no ads is great:) Also, the browser already has to fight for cpu against my own miners. Beside, it`s not as if we didn`t have tens of other cores available for what we need to do on our computers should we core lock stuff.. oh well, to me it's a non-issue.
I though Paradise was in the middle of Las Vegas strip? :)
now it is, it wasn't when I commented.
it wasn't linked .. which is why I commented :)
I know no ones ever read the fucking article, but what if there is not even a linked article ??

At least you had the part about using a lower resolution right. You should just have cut off the second paragraph.
Only 1.1% of all reddit users ever write something to start with.
just widening his extreme claim, to show how bad it was in the first place.

Apple will always claim that they did it first and much better than anyone else before them.
I don't know about you, but I don't call +- 10dB flat..

My kids just learned about the book when they asked what was that 'dont panic' about :)
300 km relay with microwave transmission use very directional antennas, which can easily be swayed by all that is going on, cutting off the feeds.
