    if a competitor walks into the store, it's not for free either. rent has to be paid. employees have to watch the store. in short: bullshit. if you can't know a competing price, you cannot compete and the free market will cease to exist. everyone should be allowed to know all prices for all items..

    why oh why are there clauses in a lot of EULAs that are illegal in some countries, yet those EULAs are not corrected?

    this may cause many problems, since it is unsure what parts of a licence can be legally enforced. Do you think this kind of misrepresentation of consumer rights should be illegal?

    I want one. Running every song on the radio through this algorithm would be good. Just so I can automagically switch channels if the software says it's "hit-material" mind you..

    put it on its side, and the pianist still isn't interested. harpists might be though.

    On a more serious note.. yes, interface matters. But also realize that in this case, the puter is just another instrument, which could mean some changes in the interface. Always expect to spend some time on learning the interface when switching software, instruments, or just about anything else.
