Knowing nestle, they'll have more domainnames than just nestle.com. taking nestle.com away sounds right to me.
>Personally, one organization shouldn't really need more than one domain name. Maybe if we restricted organizations to a small amount of domains, we wouldn't have these problems.
I completely agree. nothing wrong with m1.bmw.de, m3.bmw.de etc..it's clear to everyone, and leads to less trouble.
> But I understand that any time I receive any piece of unsolicited email it is because *I* supplied my email address to the spammer - either directly or indirectly.
is it? did you really supply your email address?
I know I have used some email adresses of people I didn't like with the intent of them getting spammed..
> Imagine someone broke into your house and stole your stereo. Later, through your neighbor's window, you see your stereo. You try to reason with your neighbor (just as the RIAA has tried reason with music-thieving public), but to no avail. Would you not then be justified to break into your neighbors house and reclaim your property?
So you break in and take the stereo. The neighbours told you it was their stereo.
And when you get home, it turns out it wasn't your stereo, just the same model. However.. under this law it's legal...

indeed. and most of the time I am not interested in buying anything. So I block ads. Now if I DO want to buy something.. I''ll look up tests. preferably comparitive tests. Independant tests. I am therefor, by definition, not interested in marketing messages. They don't show me the gamut of products I can choose from. Information gleaned from ads is suspect. "Information" in advertisements is just like statistics: it's not a LIE, but the skewed truth.
NA was going to close the source to PGP. If there's one field where Open Source took off, it's crypto. Any advanced crypto-user wants to have the ability to look at the source to ensure security. Closing source for an encryption program makes that encryption program inherently less trusted.
iirc, dutch age of consent is 16 too, I think. It is however recognized that sex before 16 does happen and is not unusual or always a bad thing. So from a certain age on(which I think is 12), the children have to report the problem to the police for them to act, rather than the parents. the child is given a choice to 'have sex', which in theory should stop parents getting their young daughter's boyfriend arrested just cos they dont like'em.
I'm afraid that if it turns out to be Bin Laden, the US will drop a nuke on afghanistan, or invade the country.. I wholeheartedly agree with Dutch Prime Minister Wim Kok who said: "I speak out the strong wish that see the chance, especially now, to react with dignity to this humiliation. We must stand up straight for democracy and human rights"

I don't care if my coworkers are male or female..
actually.. I do care, since I've been single too long, but that's another story. As long as they're just coworkers though, I couldn't care less.

Ah.. but if there hasn't been a case of law, they're not proven guilty. Not proven guilty == innocent.
shooting political opponents for being suspected terrorists is the same as shooting innocents, ie. murder.

I'd say including rock and stick. the armsrace was a heavier rock, or a bigger stick.
